“Personalized service”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 27, 2013 via mobile

We took our mother here for her 90th birthday and she was treated like a queen. The food was excellent and the service and attention to detail was second to none. They made our dinner a truly memorable experience. We will be back.

“THE "Go-to" Place to Celebrate in Orange County!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 9, 2013

My wife and I recently celebrated our 40th anniversary and she also had a birthday (we aren't saying which one). We'd heard about The Ranch and wanted to give it a try. GREAT DECISION! We'd just got back from Vegas and ate large there but, after our experience at The Ranch, we both agreed The Ranch was, by far, the best dining experience of all! The ambiance just screams classic steak house. We were seated at a booth that gave us a great view of the surroundings but protected us from much of the noise (even though they have a saloon next door, their bar scene is still a bit loud). The wait staff were very attentive and personable (especially Raymond, the Sommelier, who made it a point of congratulating me on spotting a real "find" from his wine list). The smoked salmon appetizer was unique, flavorful and very satisfying. But, the real star of the show was their Cowboy Ribeye! At $89 it might get overlooked but, if you're celebrating a special occasion, PLEASE consider ordering it! It is truly one of the best steaks you'll ever have!

“Family Nights at the Saloon Good Family Fun”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 4, 2013

Don't need to be a country fan to enjoy the saloon family night. We went as a family to take advantage of the free beginner dance lessons and stayed for the food and drink. The entire evening was really enjoyable. Although it had a feeling of a night club with lots of security and bouncer types walking around there were plenty of families and lots of kiddos dancing and enjoying the afternoon. It was a Sunday but the dance lessons start at 4 so it is still doable to enjoy a little dancing and dinner even on a school night. We will be back.

“A Great Dining Experience in Anaheim”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 3, 2013

Reviews by other TripAdvisor contributors convinced me to give The Ranch a try during a recent conference in Anaheim. What a great experience! The service, the food quality, the decor and ambience were equally outstanding. I was part of a group of four, but this would be an ideal choice for a couple, a family or a group of friends/colleagues as well. The Colorado lamb chops were prepared perfectly. The heirloom tomato salad was a great starter. When the nightly fireworks started at Disneyland at 9:30, the staff opened the window wall so we could hear as well as see the show. Someone put some great planning into designing a fine dining restaurant next to a Western saloon wth loud music. You couldn't hear the music at all bleeding into the dining rooms. It was only after we walked outside that we heard the music when someone opened the door to the saloon. Bravo!

“Fabulous!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 3, 2013

We had dinner here on Sunday night and it was fantastic! Not only was the service impeccable, I had the best prime rib I have ever eaten. We had the artichoke and Trilogy appetizers and both were excellent. My husband had the short rib and loved it. The only disappointment was the lobster Mac and cheese. We would not order that again. It was more of a lobster/cheese sauce with shell pasta. We picked up the lobster flavor but no lobster to speak of. When done with dinner the staff escorted us (& our wine) to the Saloon where there was lots of country western dancing going on. We were seated at a reserved both and well attended to. It was so fun to watch the dancing! Need to learn the 2-step and line dancing some day. One last comment, VERY expensive!
