“Great hotel”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 24, 2010

We stayed here as our first time in LA for 6 nights and thought it was great. There is a free shuttle bus to Disney which was not far away and runs regularly. To get to Hollywood though its about an hour away but worth the trip if your visiting Universal. The rooms was spacious and very clean. We used the pool once which was good and there was plenty of beds available. We had dinner here as we were given a promotional voucher when we booked in. The meal was brilliant and the waiter was very helpful! There is also free internet access. The deli/shop is also good value for money. Overall a really good hotel! Very happy with everything.

We have stayed at Sheraton Anaheim, 900 South Disneyland Drive, Anaheim three times now and each time we have enjoyed our stay. The rooms are pleasant - on the large size but small bathrooms. Overall it is a nice hotel with a shuttle bus that takes your to Disneyland.

There is free internet near reception for guests (four computers), a small cafe/shop and vending machines.

We checked in at 12.45 a.m. (two hours on the Super Shuttle - which I would NOT recommend using, try the Disneyland Express bus instead or Greylines Bus) and the check-in staff member was very pleasant and quick to get us to our room, much appreciated at that time of the morning.

I would recommend this hotel - there are three Sheraton Hotels in Anaheim so choose wisely.

I have no trouble recommending this hotel to families wanting to spend a few days at Disneyland. The rooms are spacious, the front desk staff in particular are very helpful, breakfast was included although while being a bit ordinary was necessary for starting an inevitably busy day at Disneyland. Still wondering why there is a charge for room Internet access when it's free in the front lobby.

We booked the Castle Connector Suite for three nights and choose The Birthday Package for our family of four. Great value for the most part. They have updated the rooms, but stopped short in some areas where they shouldn't have.

THE PROS
Castle Connector Suite includes 2 very large rooms. 700+ sq. ft for one room, and 500 sq ft. for the other connecting room. Awesome size rooms with nice furniture.

Free Parking

Comes with breakfast - not your average hotel breakfast. First class.

Comfortable Beds with plenty of pillows

Lots of towels, good quality products (except toilet paper-gas station quality)

Free Shuttle to Disneyland with courteous drivers

Birthday cake and other treats delivered to room as part of birthday package

Polite and service oriented staff

THE CONS

No free internet in rooms, only lobby.

If you book a room on the street side as we did, you can hear traffic ALL the time. Noisy.

Extremely outdated televisions. Bad quality.

Weird floor plan in larger room.

Large room has a tiny closet that opens into the bathroom, barely enough room for a few items. Very strange and lack of privacy for the bathroom.

SMALL bathroom especially for such a large room, takes forever to get hot water in the larger room.

No microwave

Carpet in the hotel hallsways need to be maintained better

Overall a nice stay. Next time I would make sure I don't book our rooms on the street side. I can recommend this property, but with some reservation due to the issues listed.

I have just spent 10 nights at the Sheraton Anaheim Hotel and found it to be most acceptable. I was most impressed with the service when we arrived very early on the morning of our first day there, after traveling for nearly 20 hours, I was looking forward to dumping my bags and grabbing a few hours sleep, I was quite expecting the reception to say that they could hold our bags, but check in would be later in the afternoon, however, to my surprise they let us check in right away even offering to move us to another room later in the day after cleaning if the room was not to our standard - this is fantastic service and we very much appreciated this.
The hotel rooms are a little dated in terms of furniture, however, in saying this, when I looked at another room later in the day of check in, the room was quite different and had updated furniture - we ended up settling for the original room they provided us with upon early checkin, it appears that there are some rooms that have been updated and more modern than others, but in my opinion I didn't really mind the slightly dated room.
The rooms are massive - very big indeed and plenty of space to walk around without falling over each other. There is plenty of storage, both the double wardrobe and drawers.
The bathrooms are rather compact, which we had a good laugh about - considering the size of the actual hotel room, it was a surprisingly small bathroom - but it did have a bath, shower over and a very spacious vanity, it was clean and tidy and we were provided with plenty of towels, hand towels and face clothes every day.
The shuttle service to the Theme Parks was excellent and each and every time we used it the drivers were fantastic, really nice guys and provided the passengers with clear and precise instructions each and every time about the last shuttle etc.
The hotel is excellent for those wanting to do day tours/trips, we had many activities planned and each of these were pickup on site at the hotel - perfect. The South Coast Plaza shuttle also picks up and drops off at the hotel - so convenient.

All in all, I can not fault this hotel or the service we received from the staff that work there, I am a fussy customer when it comes to hotels and have stayed at a lot and honestly feel that this is value for money and in a great location.

My husband and I stayed at the Sheraton as our first stop of our flydrive holiday exploring the West Coast. The flydrive was a set itinerary by Virgin so we weren't able to choose the hotels individually.

The Sheraton Anaheim if perfectly fine. Nothing majorly impressive nor particularly bad. It's centrally located and very close to Disney and so if you are planning visiting the Disney Park whilst in LA /Anaheim, this hotel would be a good choice.

The buffet style breakfast was reasonable in terms of choice and cost - $13.95 pp.

Rooms are very spacious. NB hotel is situated on one side, on a busy highway, so would recommend asking for a room facing the courtyard or at the back, which we were fortunate to be given.

There is a free shuttle bus which takes you to Disney, but we didn't use this as we went to Universal during our short stay.

The negatives are that it's quite dark inside and a little dates in places, especially the corridors.

All in all it was fine for our three night stay.

The room was clean, big and very comfortable. The beds were terrific. Great room service, friendly and helpful staff. Lots of parking. Quiet and great location, but don't plan on going to sleep before the Disney fireworks go off. The shuttles to Disneyland ran every half hour. PERFECT.
