Stayed here for business one night. The hotel is right next to Disney, which is great for families. The night I stayed there were fireworks going off in the park and I watched them from there, felt like I was in the park watching them. The hotel is somewhat dated, but clean. The service was excellent here and I would recommend staying here if you're planning to go to disneyland.

clean hotel - we stayed for 4 nights at the end of December 2012. The hotel's sole purpose is to house Disneyland tourists. The staff was pleasant but not abundant. There were times when lines formed at the main counter. On the first morning, maids were vacuuming an upstairs room at 8:00 AM.

We stayed at the Sheraton Anaheim during October 2012. Arrived mid-week and the hotel was virtually empty so we got the pick of the rooms with a view over the rose garden, really filled up at the weekend though. Excellent location with free shuttle bus to Disneyland, 5 minute journey and you could easily walk it if you wanted to.
The rooms are enormous but bathrooms tiny in comparison and could do with updating. Great facilities and all staff we dealt with were friendly and helpful.

Room Tip: Try to get a room away from the freeway side and overlooking the rose garden if possible.

Blessed by the stay and the room. We got to our room early and had lunch then got blessed with an upgrade Thank you Carol!! What a wonderful surprise. My brother just lost his job you can imagine what that can do to a single father especially during the holidays. So we at the last minute invited him and his boys to join us. My family really enjoyed being able to visit and have a relaxing stay after the craziness of the long Christmas lines at Disneyland. The boys enjoyed the heated pool too. Your shuttle staff to was so nice and to be honest they are the reason we stay there!! We got to Disneyland and realized my hubby lost our camera and the shuttle service found it!! Again, another blessing!! Yes, i would say if you plan on going to Disneyland, this should be your destination! We have stayed all around the park at other hotels and for the value and the Quality of personal care this is the best place to stay!!

Room Tip: The rooms with turret are room enough for a family to relax and enjoy your stay!

We stayed there because it is very near to the park. That's it the first time and the last time. I would rather find a motel, it's about the same quality but a lot cheaper. We are quite disappointed since we booked this hotel as it is "Sheraton". But this hotel doesn't meet Sheraton's standard at all.

Parking - It's not free. Enter by taking the parking card from an automated machine, the guy at check-in will give you a plastic to swipe when you leave the gantry.

Check-in, we reached hotel quite late at night as 11pm because of the evening flight. Just only one guy before us was checking in, it took us about 10 minutes at the line. But once it's our turn, the guy is quite nice and explained everything to us including the map and facilities. So the same as he did for the previous guy before us.

Hotel lobby is so nice and we would expected the room quality about similar. But it's not. Hotel lift is vintage kind of and we appreciated it. Here's the surprise!! We got a King-bed room and one we entered, we found the room is as big as three king size beds can fit in. Separate wardrobe and bathroom entrance. There was sofa and table at one side, a bed at another side of the room. The room was big until we felt a bit scary staying such big room. But the quality of furniture is VERY OLD!! Bed is OLD, side tables, TV stand, sofa, carpet, everything in the room are OLD until we thought that we were not staying in Sheraton right? It was too contrast comparing with their 5-star lobby.

Bathroom and toilet are clean. Towels are not 5-star kind of towels. This hotel is more like motel and they should call it Sheraton Motel.

Shuttle to the park is free every 15-30 mins. Services are good in overall. Staffs are very knowledgeable and willing to give information as requested. Riding to the park is just 5 minutes.

Location - there is nothing nearby the hotel. We had to drive about 10 minutes to the nearest restaurant we preferred.

Overall experience, I'm a SPG member, been to many Sheratons in the US and other countries. This hotel is not a Sheraton standard, if you're expecting that. We will be in Anaheim again in Feb'13, but we're definitely not going to stay at this hotel again.

We were two families with 4 adults and 5 children including 3 teens. We stayed for 3 days in two interconnecting rooms. The rooms were the largest that I have seen. There was ample space to move around even with an extra bed. The hotel was clean and spacious. There is convenient shuttle service to Disney (every 30 minutes). With little planning we never had to wait more than 10 minutes for a shuttle! The staff was very courteous, helpful and professional.

There is no safe in the room but they have a managers safe in the front desk. There are no good restaurants with in walkable distance and the one in the hotel is pricey. We ate at or near Disney most of the time. The shuttle pick up area in Disneyland gets chaotic during peak hours (evening). These are all minor issues and we loved this hotel. We will go back again.

We stayed here on our weekend trip to Disneyland. Arrived early and was able to check in right away which was great after the drive from the Bay Area. At check in we were given the option of a high floor and low floor. We choose low which we would later regret. The room was 2104 and just down nine steps from the elevator. The room was clean and very spacious. Had a coffee maker and a fridge. The one thing the room was missing was a in room safe. If you have small kids be careful picking this floor when the hotel has banquets and parties. From nine pm to after midnight yelling and loud talking from people walking back and forth to the parties.

All in all nice hotel. Had room service one morning and it was great. The food a delicious and the service was quick. They also don't rack up the price just because its room service. I picked up chicken wings and a burger from the restaurant and they were very good.

The hotel has a free shuttle to the park. It's also just a short walk.
