Have to agree with the reviewer from Canada who stayed around same time as us, my wife and I stayed here Feb 5-7

This is a great value, well run, friendly, convenient (parking outside your door) Inn.

Maybe the rooms are bit well worn in parts (probably due to its popularity), but everything works is clean and comfortable, with some upstairs rooms near nice balcony areas with seats /plants (great if your a smoker, then no need to get a smoking room).

I travel a lot and stay often stay in 4-5 star hotels, some of which can be impersonal , with poor service and triple the price, I highly recommend the Candy Cane Inn.

We stayed here from Jan 31-Feb 5 and had a good overall stay. Rooms were quiet. Staff were very nice and helpful. The grounds are absolutely beautfiul. The rooms are quite small not enough room to have 2 suitcases side by side. They are also decorated nicely but are looking a little tired the furniture is missing handles and all banged up as well as ripped wallpaper. Probably would not stay here again, lots of hotels in the vicinity to choose from.

We stayed at the Candy Cane Inn from Feb 4-9, 2004 and absolutely loved it! We read the TripAdvisor reviews on a regular basis and knew that this was a very special "oasis" in Anaheim. The staff were so friendly and couldn't be more helpful. We reserved the "Premium" room and loved the "Breakfast in a Basket" that was brought to our room each morning. The grounds and the pool were beautifully maintained. The shuttle service to/from Disneyland was excellent and very convenient. We would definitely recommend the Candy Cane Inn to anyone who is planning on going to Disneyland, and we will absolutely stay there again in the future!

We have been Annual Passholders at Disneyland for 4 years now and we always stay at the Candy Cane Inn. We'd tried others in the area but for the money, the place licks 'em all. From the lush landscaping, pleasant stucco & wrought iron and friendly staff to the free breakfast and clean rooms, you simply can't go wrong. We have stayed at all times of the year (even at the height of summer when the area is a zoo) and have never been dissapointed. The walk back from the Park in the evenings is a stiff 10 minute walk but it's nice knowing the shuttle is available. Can't stress enough that the value for what you pay is SO worth it when you stay at this little paradise of an inn.

The two of us stayed at the Candy Cane Inn for three nights, December 8, 9 & 10. We booked a regular room with a King bed (at just an extra $10 per night), which was absolutely perfect for two tall adults. The room was clean and well-appointed, and we especially appreciated the large bathroom with the handy seat/shelf at the end of the tub (great for leg shaving! :-) The continental breakfast was lovely and very relaxing as we ate poolside. We walked the short distance to Disneyland the first morning, but then chose to save our feet by utilizing the very efficient shuttle with the property's friendly drivers. The location is great. We took advantage of a tasty Chinese restaurant across the street, as well as the 7-11 store next door. This will definitely be our regular 'home-away-from-home' on future vacations to Disneyland.

Spent 3 days at Candy Cane the week after Thanksgiving with my husband.
I say it's the closest thing to a boutique hotel anywhere near Disneyland. Although the place had to be built in the 50's it has been beautifully updated and the grounds have lush plants. Bedding and furnishings are quality, and our room was quiet, comfortable and roomy (bathroom was a tad small, but the sink and mirror is outside the toilet/shower area). Yes, the breakfast was crowded, but everyone is going to Disneyland and they're all in a good mood, and there was plenty of continental breakfast type food. Parking is so easy, and free - nothing like the big guy resorts! The Disneyland shuttle is exclusively for Candy Cane Inn, so it's very fast. I usually stay at 4* or higher accommodations, and I was totally satisfied and even charmed by the Candy Cane Inn. For the price, I rate it excellent! So glad I found this place, and would definitely stay there again on another trip to Disneyland.
