My friend was in town and I convienced her to allow me to find a quiet hotel for her stay and therefore delay her 2 hour drive back home until the morning. I've stayed at other LaQuinta's in California located near airports and have found the hotels to be of very good value with good locations. The Anaheim Hotel on Clementine street met our needs. We got a room with a King size bed which also had the small "office/living area" with the couch for two, big screen TV and desk. Coffe maker, plenty of paper cups and a mini fridge. The only blem was the shower floor that has seen better days. She remarked the hotel felt cozy and she liked that the Anaheim Garden Walk is right across the street, She commented that "next time in town" we could plan to dine there and "we" can stay at the hotel again. If she's got a blushing happy face then I'm happy...even my budget was happy too. In my book.La Quinta Hotels have proven to be good value and good service. There may be minor blems here and there but the positive items out-weigh any minor negatives.

Room Tip: google: Garden Walk Anaheim CA to see nice nearby dinning & entertainment venues.

We had stayed here 4 years ago and decided to come back mainly because we were traveling with our chihuahua mix. The best thing about La Quinta's and pets is no additional pet fee (unlike other pet friendly lodgings that we paid $25/day or $75/stay). We booked the same type of room as before for the four of us, an apartment suite w/ a king bed and separate area w/ bunk beds. These are nice sized rooms, especially the bunk bed area (which is separated by a sliding door and curtain) that has a kids table, work desk, and dresser plus the small fridge & microwave are in there. The main area has a long counter where the sink is, long enough to hold all your stuff. Too bad there wasn't a second sink in the toilet, combination shower/tub room, Then 2 people could brush up at the same time. What was really lacking was no dresser in the main room...where to put your clothes? We had to use the closet shelf and the small cubby holes in the nightstands.

The furnishings and bedding seemed okay, nothing fancy. Some of the fixtures and tub looks worn and could use sprucing up. The blanket definitely had seen better days (some holes/rips) and needs to be replaced. The carpet seemed fairly clean.

They do include their bright side breakfast which was pretty good. It consists of mini-waffles, whole fruit, yogurt, mini muffins, donuts, toast, bagels, hot & cold cereal. The food quality was average, but at least it is way better than some places Continental breakfast. I do wish there were some changes in variety each morning, instead there were the same items for all 3 days we were there. Beverages included coffee, tea, milk (on the opposite of the room, wasn't easy to spot right away), orange and apple juice. All in all, plenty of food to fill you up and get you started for a long day of walking at Disneyland and Calif Adventure.

I noticed someone else mentioned no grass for the dog. It seems the whole area doesn't have any grass, I walked up the block on Clementine and also around the corner to 7-11 and no grass to be found. Looking at the foliage, it appears everything planted are plants that don't drink alot of water. By the way, there is a newish (it wasn't there 4 years ago) development across the street with plenty of dining options: a Cheesecake Factory, Calif Pizza Kitchen, PF Chiangs, McCormick & Schmicks, Johnny Rockets, Roy's Hawaiian Fusion, and others; plus a bowling alley and movie theaters. We ate dinner there two of the nights, so very convenient.

My girlfriends and I wanted to get a hotel room for a night so we didn't have to drive home after a girls night out. This location is conveniently located down the street from Disneyland and right on the corner of The Garden Walk in Anaheim. The front desk staff was very accomodating and very friendly. The room was just what we needed for a bunch af girls to have a sleepover. The room was called the children's suite and was perfect for families. They also offer a complimentary breakfast with a good range of foods for adults and kids. The room was clean and the beds were comfy, but the bunk beds we had in our room were very noisey when someone turned during sleep. The elevator is slow, but there are only 5 floors so the stairs were nice exercise without luggage of course.

Room Tip: The kids suite has a separate bedroom at the back with a kids coloring table, a desk, and its own TV...

We were welcomed very nicely by the staff and checkin was quick and easy. They accomodated us very good. The rooms we had were perfect! Walking distance to Disneyland was good too! The breakfast was great! Checkout was even good!

Room Tip: The 2 bedroom suites with a king size bed and bunk beds are better for the family.

Close to Disneyland, walking distance, cont. breakfast and clean rooms, what else could you ask for. I will be returning to this hotel in Nov. for a weekend trip to Disneyland. They do have a shuttle for a fee, but if we weren't too tired we would walk the few blocks away. The only thing is I wish they would have a grass area for the dogs. Otherwise, we love this place and look forward to coming back.

Let’s start with the fact that the picture of your hotel on the website did not match. I did not know it was a high rise with limited parking and with construction bins throughout the exterior parking lot, which made entering and leaving your hotel very challenging.

When we returned to the hotel a little after midnight, we were surprised to walk into a room that looked as if it wasn’t cleaned. The carpets looks dirty, there were stains on the bed covers and to top it off, two of the shower towels were dirty. One had dried blood on it, and the other had lipstick on it (at least we hoped it was lipstick. The toilet seat moved like it was going to break off. When you looked into the tub, the tub was dirty and the chrome piece on the shower head was broken and dangling. In addition, the shower did not drain and allowed for sitting water for several minutes after using the shower. And this was just the beginning.

I had no idea how thin your walls and ceilings were because we could hear everything from the people next to us and I mean everything in addition to constantly hearing people walking around above us. This is of course in addition to the air-conditioning making loud noises all night long and not maintaining the temperature in the room.

Also, I wanted to mention something about the breakfast. First of all, the area was not clean and there was food all over the place. The waffles were cold and there was very minimal selections. Your breakfast was so bad we ended up walking out and going to a restaurant down the street.

Room Tip: I would wait till the construction is complete before staying at this hotel.

I really should believe the reviews that I read at this place. There's not even one nice things I could say about this place. Where should I start? Parking lot is so small and narrow. Service guest is rude. Only one super old elevator. As soon as we step out of the elevator, there goes the bad smell of stain old dark dirty carpet. The room was dirty, the closet door is broken, there's no table or chair for a so called APARTMENT SUITES. The toilet had stains, and some dark burning marks, and there was no hot water on the first day we arrived. Only three towels for our family of six. I had to called for more clean towels every morning. Our room didn't get clean for two days for some reason, someone put a DO NOT DISTURB SIGN in the front door. The carpet in the room is as dirty as the one in the hallway. Everyone had to wear sandals in the room, we can't go barefoot, if so your feet will turn black in a few minutes.
As for night time, the water faucet is leaking water all night along. The first night, there were dogs barking all night long, unbelievable. Another strange thing was someone set our alarm clock to 3am, we turned it off, but yet it was set on for the next night again. Please do not go down the stairs only if you must or elevator is not working. The stairs is dirty, people spit everywhere, and believe or not dogs pee everywhere. I can not believe the owner will allow their pets to do that. I don't even want to mention the pools it's small and dirty.
With this price, there are many other choices in Anaheim that are much better than this one. I believe some family attract by their bunk bed if traveling with children, but those bunk bed are so old, the mattress are so old, the bed sqeak all night, the sheet and blanket are so old.
As far as walking distance to DisneyLand, not a bit, probably about 30 mins walk but with little one please expect more.
