Great hotel. Wake up hit park no buses, no driving. Close to both parks and Downtown Disney. Stay here and enjoy the hotel. Napa Rose is a great restaurant. If use to Florida you will not be "welcomed homed" as you are in Florida. Have three pools and pool near the Bar which is a plus. Have a couple of nice grills in back to grill a steak can't be best.

Over priced and the service is horrible. I have never spent so much money for a bad experence. No breakfast service, that us an additonal charge. I will never stay at this hotel again. People save your money do not go there!!!!

Room Tip: Save your money do not go here!!!!

This place is amazing! After getting off a 14hr flight, the staff were very friendly and happy for us to check in early. Just a short walk into Downtown Disney, Disneyland and California Adventure Park. A little more expensive than other hotels around but your paying for location.
Having limited time (7n), we felt it was important to stay as close as possible to Disneyland.
Staying at the Grand, every morning we were able to get into a park early (magic morning).
Doing our laundry here only cost us a few dollars. Pleasantly surprised!
We would definitely recommend staying at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel.

The lobby is breathtaking. The location is superior. The rooms are acceptable although a bit dated. This is a rambling hotel with a lot of people everywhere. It seems they have overbuilt the infrastructure and built too many rooms in a bit of a rambling maze. The valet service stinks. We had to wait 20 minutes to obtain our car. The drive in was chaotic dodging Disney workers who did not seem to know what they were doing. The VIP service inside the hotel was superior and very helpful. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would return. We especially enjoyed the evening fireworks from our third story location overlooking Disneyland.

Room Tip: Room on a higher with a view of the Disneyland fireworks is a must.

We stayed here for 5 nights recently for our family holiday to Disneyland. Yes this hotel is expensive there is no doubting that. We tossed up staying here versus saving a lot of money by staying outside Disneyland. Yes the hotel is tired and not the usual quality you would expect for the price. But here is my view - we used the hotel room mainly to sleep in as we were out all day having fun. The room was very clean, the beds were comfortable and the bathroom whilst it was small, was practical enough and vey clean. So it met our needs very well. We used the pool a few times and this was awesome - my 7 year old and husband both loved the water slide! Why is it worth the $$ - the Magic Hour! Yes the other Disney hotels have the Magic Hour too but there was nothing nicer than stepping out of the elevator and being right at the entrance to California Adventure - or the walk to the Disneyland gates was 3 minutes max. We felt like we ere staying right in Disneyland. It meant we could stay right to the end knowing we were a few minutes from our room. We got so much more from our holiday - and with a young child this was well worth the cost. The Magic Hour was amazing - we got more done in the one hour than we would achieve in 3 to 4 hours during the day. There is nothing nicer than just walking up and getting straight on to a ride. On our last morning we booked breakfast with Chip n Dale at the hotel and this was a highlight for us. The characters were so fantastic and the way they interacted with my daughter was amazing. She had a smile on her face al day. The buffet was plentiful and we had the best coffee we had in all our holiday here. We loved DIsneyland so much that we are planning our next visit and we would definitely stay here again no matter what.

Room Tip: We requested a King room with sleeper sofa but this was not available and we got 2 queen beds instea...

The hotel is in a great location and we have been staying here since it first opened. It is showing it's age and badly in need of a refurbishment. The staff is very average and can't compare to the friendly Disney service at the hotels in Walt Disney World in Orlando. The staff rarely says hello and some just look miserable being there. Last two tines we stayed, our room wasn't ready until 5:30 pm. Should have been ready at 4 pm as promised. There is a new SpringHill Suites opening across the street - SpringHill is a better value and still within walking distance to the resort.

Had a wonderful time while we were there. Loved the location! Right smack int he middle of Down town Disney & Disney's California adventure. Be advised that rooms facing these location offer a Fantastic view and the sounds of Everything from early morning to late at night.
We had a different view, but could still enjoy the Disneyland's fireworks from our balcony.
Rooms are comfortable, but don't have a lot of the Disney touches that other hotels offer. This will please some and bother others.
Pool lounge chair pads are Fantastic! Thick, soft and comfy (almost pillow top ). Be sure to get one and relax your day away.
We had great service from the valet and the concierge servers. Always greeting you with a warm smile welcoming you back after a day of adventure!
