We visited California Adventure Park two days after visiting Disneyland. Was a little disappointed not quite the same magic as Disneyland. Food expensive in both parks but more to choose from at the Adventure Park. Went on a couple of rides which were fun..queues much smaller than Disneyland. I also liked the fact that there were lots more places to sit and relax at the Adventure Park compared to Disneyland. Disney characters were around so you could take photos. All in All it was a pleasant day much bit Disneyland more magical!

Disney speaks for itself. But the California Adventure is a bit better now, I'd say. Since they have added rides since my last visit. They have a FAST PASS - a mobile app that get's you on rides faster. You must use this. Get help to set it up. Most rides in California Adventure take FAST PASS, but not all rides in the main park do. WE had more rides in California Adventure.

Been to WDW in Florida many times from the UK (even getting married there is 2005), as well as Paris, but having been here, we can honestly say this is our favourite. It's got a real traditional quality to it, which is different to of that Florida. Maybe it's some of the rides, or the old school pastel colours used within, or it could be the slightly different pace that it runs at. It could be the more snug layout, with downtown and the other park within throwing distance. Or it could even be that we visited on Halloween and got on every ride within 5 to 10 minutes! But In any case we had an amazing time and cannot wait to return.

Only saw a small part of this park as we were trick 'n' treating through it. Had to rush to get to the candy stations. But what I saw makes me want to come back and do more. The few rides we did get to were very appropriate for the ages of the children. Disney knows how to cater to families and make you feel young again.

Had a brilliant day at Disney! Cars land is awesome and the Disney fast pass max is worth the money and very handy for avoiding long queues!

Very expensive for a 1 day one park pass!

This was my first visit to the adventure park and my grandkids and I just loved it! They would have been happy staying in Radiator Springs and riding the cars all day but we also loved Guardians of the Galaxy, the incredible roller coaster- the Incredicoaster, and we finished up the day with Soarin’ Around the World- a great ride to end with!!

We love Disneyland so it is fun to get a one day pass / park hopper for CA Adventures. Big roller coaster and serves beer. Has a cool water ride and a huge tree house / rope climb.

We had a great time at DCA. So much has changed in the 11 years since we have visited and we took our kids with us to create some memories. They LOVED Cars Land and a lot of other rides in the park. However, unless you pony up for the Max Pass on your phone app, you are destined to be waiting in line for lengthy periods. The FastPass is really key in this park, so make sure you do your research. Finally, the food was phenomenal. We had the chowder bowls, corn dogs, churros, mexican cuisine, and more. Very good food!

Having been to both Disneyland and Disney World a handful of times since the ‘60’s we were tickled to experience DCA for the first time. The Cars ride was the best- drag racing across the desert against another car as well as walking through Route 66 ( old motels and diners etc ). Old Hollywood was a cool step back in time to the ‘40’s. Best experienced as the sun sets - great lighting. We’d go back happily. Food was just ok, the Trattoria was the best there, for a more formal sit down meal.

Was at DCA this weekend during the Festival of Holidays being held in Disney’s California Adventure. It was very crowded.
Many booths set up offering a wide variety of foods and holiday themed foods. Much like the Disney food and Wine Festival. Great way to sample smaller portions os some delicious food at a lower price point. The Park was very busy due to the Veterans Day weekend and there being no school on Monday and government offices closed as well. All in all it was a great time.
