Wife and I went to Disney California Adventure when it first opened and there wasn't much there in respects to rides/attractions. Now having just visited again in 2014 there has been a huge expansion with Bugs Land and of course Cars Land. Disney has done a great job expanding the park so that it appeals to a wider audience. The lines on some rides can be super long so use the fast pass system as much as you can. The fast pass for the Radiator Springs Racers were all gone by 9:15 or so. If you want to get on them this should be the first fast pass you get when you get in the park or get in line for an hour or more to ride. We went with our 3 y/o Son and there was plenty for him to ride on and enjoy. The food at Disney Parks is always expensive so either plan for that or bring your own. We had a great time, but didn't stay for World of Color and will make it a point to do so at our next visit.
