“One of my favorite Disney restaurants”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 8, 2013

This is a favorite of mine. Love the atmosphere, especially interesting during Halloween season with the Dia de los Muertos theme. The outdoor seating area is such a charming oasis and respite from the bustle of the main Disney pathways; love all the flowers and trees. I have always had good food here, and particularly enjoyed the soft Tacos Monterrey (the beef was very spicy, the chicken good, the carnitas fantastic!). One or our group with a food allergy had good experience first visit, with chef assisting with selections. The next visit, she received wheat tortilla instead of corn, so pay attention when picking up your order, to save yourself a trip back up to the counter. Also, remember to mention any food allergies each time you visit a Disney restaurant. Regardless, this as a favorite spot within Disneyland park.

“Surprise!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 2, 2013

What a shock this was, while looking for food my husband did not want burgers or pizza, and we did want fast food though, so i figured lets head to Frontierland it seems that will be our only options. I decided to try this Mexican restaurant...I am Mexican and the enchiladas were DELICIOUS as was the rice and beans, the kids plate comes with brown rice and apple sauce, and the brown rice was just as tasty! You get discounted drink refills, and it was not crowded, so much seating, indoor or outdoor. I loved it and will always eat here when on my Disney trips. My husband wanted fish tacos but i know that it is hard to find good fish tacos so I let him try my enchiladas and he immediately went and also got a plate!

“Not good!”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 15, 2013

We have eating here before,a couple years ago and it was good, so we went back this year. We had the fish tacos, the fish tasted like it was setting around too long, the port tacos was tough and not much flavor. This worst part was that after eating we was sick the rest of the day. The food had to have been old, maybe from the day before. We won't go back to this Disney restaurant.

“Very good Mexican food, walk-up and self seat dining”

Easy to find in Frontierland right behind Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, there is so much space to eat, in or out, it is always a good choice.

This is the only place in Disneyland Park to get Cherry Coke on tap (the only one in California Adventure is Clarabelle's Ice Cream on Buena Vista).

Here's a secret: They will allow free refills for dining guests, but they don't encourage it. Enjoy!

“Love this place!”

Nothing like sitting outside here in the warm California weather. I love the atmosphere here.

Food is ok, a couple of choices for vegetarians and generous servings. I think some meals are vegan without the cheese and sour cream added.

Meals are less than $15 and if you are a light eater, sharing might be an option.
