Most of Disneyland fast food restaurants are good but not great. You pay a bit more but you just dont expect much. But, if you can save your appetite and come to Big Thunder Ranch, please do so. I suggest all my friends to come here. For the price, you get all you can eat and drink. Plus the quality of the food is much better than any fast food dining area in Disneyland. Maybe except the monte cristo at Cafe Orleans. There's usually one good food to get at certain dining place but here, everything was yummy. Don't forget to try the hot chocolate!!

The ribs are really good, but the other stuff they normally include are just okay. A little hint that some people don't know about, you can ask for them to only put ribs in your pail! And it's all you can eat!

We ate here for lunch, unlimited chicken, ribs, bread, beans, soda, yum! Alot of food for the value. Relaxing atmosphere. Nice quiet spot to eat. I did not feel all the little snacks or lunches were fiilling us up too much and for 6 of us to eat we were spending around $60-$70 on food and drinks-without refills. I think we only spent around $40 more and we all had seconds and thirds-so go when hungry! They also had live music playing there while you eat. There is a dinner meny which offeres a few more sides but the price is a bit more. We had a late lunch, right before dinner so that was basically our dinner. They have a dessert menu you can order off, it cost extra. They said it takes about 20 min for the dessert though. The food was better than expected. We also saw all the western characters entering and leaving the jamboree, it was empty there so when we were done eating we got pics and autographs with no lines at all! (mickey, minnie, goofy, donald, and all three country bears). We will def. be going back to eat here again. We did not have reservations and had no waiting for a table.

$21.99 AYCE really tasty quality BBQ ribs. The chicken was very tender. Didn't care too much for the coleslaw but the corn bread and the beans were really good. Our first waitress looked like to had a rough time and she was sweet (maybe 1st day on the job?) but Brian (2nd server) was very professional.

Great live entertainment with country music singers that could actually sing.

Can't wait to go back!

I didn't discover this gem until my most recent trip. It's a great table service restaurant in frontier land. The BBQ food is tasty and served family style. You get ribs, chicken, sausages, corn, beans, cole slaw, and cornbread. It's all you can eat, but it was plenty of food and we didn't need seconds.

All the food was peanut safe with the exception of the cornbread, which comes from the central Disney bakery and has the risk of cross-contamination. If you have an allergic family member and have visited Disney before you are probably used to skipping the baked goods. The chef will come and talk to you about allergies and answer any questions.

They have live country music on stage, and a cowboy with a guitar that seranades the tables. I loved that he did country versions of Tom petty or The Cure!

The wait staff was awesome, and I loved having a relaxing sit down meal in the shade.

After a long day of walking, it was really nice to take a real break to sit and relax a spell.

I would get your picture taken with Mickey before you eat here, however, because eating good barbeque is messy business.
