We chose this hotel based on location (1 mile from maingate Disney) and price. We stayed for two nights. Upon arrival there is a large lobby with plenty of seating and friendly helpful door staff. The young lady that checked us in was delightful...friendly and kind. We had two rooms, both with a King bed. My son and his girlfriend's room had a lovely view of the pool area and palm trees. Ours was a corner room with a bit more space but a view of the roof top. It had a large balcony and was very quiet. The usual amenities adorned the room, coffee maker, mini bottles of decent shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and lotion.

We ate two meals in the lounge and although the selection was limited the food and service was good. We also ate two breakfasts in the main restaurant. There is a large buffet but decided to go a'la carte. Meal portions are very large... preferring a smaller meal they were kind enough to allow an order of a single egg and toast. Very personal service, the waiter kept visiting and calling us his family. :) We didn't see many young children at this hotel but I'm sure that changes based on time of year/week.

The concierge desk in the hotel sells shuttle tickets to Disneyland ($5 per day per person) and all Disneyland passes.

I used the pool on our last morning there at 8am there was only myself and one other paddling around. The pool & deck were clean with lots of towels and deck chairs around. Lots of sunny and shady areas to sit and there's even a portion of the pool that's covered by a glass atrium.

The hotel had a nice amenity store with everything from books and souvenir's to jewelry and liquor.

I would happily stay here again if we go for another visit to Disneyland and California Adventure Park.

Room Tip: Despite not Having a view, our corner room was very quiet and large.

Our Future Business Leaders of America stayed at the Anaheim Marriott for the recent convention. I definitely took into consideration the fact that there was a hotel full of teenagers when writing this review. Our room was 362 and it looked out to a parking lot and cement wall. The opposite side rooms looked over the pool. This section of the building was 4 stories high. The room was standard and I was annoyed that we did not have a fan in the bathroom. Every day, we seemed to have problems with maid replenishing our coffee, cups, etc. One day, we waited until about 4:30 to call because maid service missed our room, even though we had been out at meetings all day and we were not the only ones skipped. I'm sure the hotel was extremely busy, as it was a Sunday and many people were checking out. I slept very well while there. The beds and pillows were comfortable and the noise level was low.

The pool area was very nice. There was part of the pool shaded with a roof, which was nice relief on a hot, sunny day. There was also a whirlpool. One day the pool was closed, which left a lot of people disappointed, but we had gone to Disney that day, so it didn't affect us at all. There is a restaurant and bar adjacent to the pool area. I did not eat while staying at the Marriott

The location was great. The Convention Center is adjacent, as well as the Hilton. We walked several blocks to California Adventure, Disneyland and Downtown Disney. One evening we walked to the Garden Walk for dinner at the Cheesecake Factory. You can get to a lot of things, if you don't mind walking. One day we bought bus passes and went the outlets a few miles away.

The hotel was a typical Marriott. Nice rooms, but nothing spectacular. What stood out was the service. Everyone was very helpful from the bellboys to the bartenders. A very well run hotel. We drove to Disney, but had we not had a five year old with us, we could have walked. We got a roll away bed, and although it was a bit tight, we were able to fit five people in our room.

This review may be slanted a little because when we came here for FBLA nationals, our state had to stay at the Marriott as it was our State's host hotel

The first night though, stayed at the Hilton across the way and I am a Diamond there and nothing at Marriott so take that into consideration

The Marriott was clean and easy to just charge everything to the room but what kills this review is that on a hot Saturday the pool was closed and we had to go across the way to the Hilton

If you are a Marriott member stay here but if the dollar is the same, I think I will stay at the Anaheim Hilton next time

Room Tip: There are some lower level rooms that you just walk out directly to the pool. We did not stay in one...

Thank you for the great review! We apologize for the pool closure during your stay, but it is periodically required for safety maintenance and we have no control over scheduling. We really appreciate your feedback though, and we hope to see you again on a future trip to Anaheim!

During my recent stay here I found what appeared to be mold in the the shower. Upon contacting the front desk staff, they directed me to a manager who said he would check it out, but he never got back to me, so I talked to another manager the next day he said this incident was not noted anywhere and they were unaware of it. This manager finally looked into it and called me a day later and said it was just mildew so it wasn't a big deal. I find this extremely disturbing and will never be giving another dime to this hotel again.

Loved absolutely everything about this hotel! Check-in was smooth and Michelle was fantastic! VEry genuine and seemed to really know what she was doing. We got a room on the 12th floor overlooking the pool. I am not sure if this is standard, but our room had a balcony and it was very nice to be able to enjoy a coffee in the morning.
I noticed management reads the reviews here and leaves little comments most of the time, so if you are reading this, make sure you commend Michelle on being absolutely amazing!

Room Tip: Perfect for a Disneyland trip! Took us about 15min to walk from this hotel.
