Our party of 5 (84 year old grandmother, 47 year old mother, 12 and 14 year old teenagers and a 10 year old boy) had an excellent vacation at the Fairfield Inn in Anaheim. We found the staff to be incredibly courteous, knowledgable, friendly and helpful. The security was found to be extremely competent and quick to respond. The young boys in our group really enjoyed the games room and pool. The pool can be described as perfectly clean, and the surrounding area is spotless as well. We purchased snacks from the 3rd floor cafe and found it to be reasonably priced, however our main dining attraction outside of the Disney parks was Millie's restaurant. We could not have asked for a better priced, top quality establishment as Millie's, which also offers room service to the Fairfield (unfortunately we didn't discover this option until the final morning of our stay). The Fairfield rooms are spotless, and size wasn't an issue as they aren't cramped. The bathroom was impeccably neat and tidy, and having the minibar in the room was a convenient bonus. We didn't have any complaints about the housekeeping or any other Fairfield staff, basically this is one of the best-value hotels for any age group visiting the Disney parks. The only two issues we had were dealt with efficiently and promptly: the first was of an inconsiderate guest smoking on our floor(which was designated non-smoking) - we voiced our complaint to the staff and it was cleared up immediately. The second issue involved the bus transport - or lack of - to Universal Studios. The first time we attempted to book a day to the park the bus didn't show up due to a misunderstanding, however the Fairfield staff were able to offer, at our request, an alternate trip the very next day. Other than those two small issues we didn't have any problems or complaints at all. Thanks to the Fairfield Inn our Disney vacation was pretty much perfect. The location is an added bonus as well - the 10 minute walk to Disneyland wasn't at all strenuous even for the kids or our elderly grandmother. Overall this is one of the best hotels we've ever stayed at, a return trip is planned very soon and we recommend the Fairfield to everyone we know every chance we get. Thanks again for the awesome vacation - see you soon, California!

This hotel is a great place to stay! We liked it so much that we stayed here twice in the same year! If I ever come back to this area I will stay here again! The beds are the most comortable I have slept in at any hotel! Close to Disneyland! Good Staff! The pool area is VERY CLEAN, and the hot tub is hot (like it is saposed to be!) the rooms are clean.

I heard nothing as far as noise and after a long day at the parks it was nice to come back to this room for a good nights rest! The staff was very helpful and courtious! I was able to book a trip to Universal Studios right at the hotel with ease! I can't think of one bad thing to say and I am very critical when it comes to hotels!

My kids loved the pool and everything else the hotel had to offer! It was nice to have Mc Donalds right there in the hotel parking lot!

Can't understand the negative comments regarding this hotel. You get way more than you pay for!! I think it's a great value, family oriented hotel. Very close to Disneyland entrance, clean comfortable rooms and comfy beds. No restaurant IN the hotel, but just out the front is a great diner, with great, value for money meals, and if staying at The Fairfield, the kids eat for 99 cents - can't complain about that!!!
Front desk courteous and helpful.
The laundry was also very handy to have.
We would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to friends.

The Fairfield is dated and a bit dingy. No microwaves , no safes, very small fridges and a single cup coffee machine with terrible coffee are just a few things that this hotel lacks. The bathrooms are terribly small and you could not bath in the tub from corrosion. Very limited tv channels...especially for children. They did not even have the Disney Channel or Family Channel. The Best Western Park Place Inn is a much better place and is right at the crosswalk to head over to Disneyland. Also, The Fairfield is much more $$$ than the Best Western and certainly not worth the money.
On a positive note the beds were comfortable and there was a McDonalds in the parking lot of the Fairfield. Personally, I would take your family to eat in downtowwn Disney, like the Rainforest cafe or Storytellers Restaurant at the Californian Hotel rather than eat at any of the restaurants along the few hotels right across from Disney. A bit more pricey than an IHOP but worth it, I think. Enjoy Disney. To all my Canadian friends...take a day to go to Newport Beach or Sana Monica, it is great to have a relax day if you are staying a while.

We arrived at The Fairfield Inn on the 30/12/05 after a long flight from Australia. We were unable to check in until 2 - 3 pm so we took the opportunity to walk around the area. We did have a room request in which we phoned from australia twice to confirm and when we got there no one had any record of it. We arrived back and only had to wait a short while and then checked into our room. We were on the 8th floor and had a brilliant view of space mountain and the matterhorn bobsled. We got a great view of the fireworks at night. We were concerned about the traffic noise but it didnt bother us. The beds were very comfortable and we all passed out after the days activities. As posted previously, it is a short walk to the front gate and we felt very safe whatever time it was. We rested every afternoon and found the location excellent. The rooms were very spacious and the layout was great. For a family of four we found it great. Also having the ice machine and the laundry on our floor was wonderful. Our stay was 5 days and we found it to be well and truly above average for its price and location!!!!!

We arrived on a Wednesday afternoon, January 4th, 2006, at the Marriott Fairfield Inn and found the room just what we ordered, 2 Q beds overlooking the pool. Only property I found with 2 Q, and since I sleep with a 3 yr old and my daughter with her 6 yr old, the larger-than-double bed size was appreciated. Beds were so comfy, we all slept like logs (or maybe it was the D'land workout!) Pool was heated just right and the jacuzzi was appropriately hotsy totsy. No complaints, no surprises, and we were on a higher floor so the feeling was more of that of a hotel than a motel with outside walkways. Used the microwave in the Cafasia and loved it's lattes. And sometimes they make delicious chocolate chip cookies that they hand out!! Felt very secure and safe. Friendly, helpful service, choice of lots of places to eat nearby, and best of all, walking home after the park closed was not scary at all, so many others doing the same thing, felt like walking the strip at Vegas. Had two nights, and spent check-out day hanging out in the pool. Would return in a heartbeat.
