We stayed there for 2 nights, love our stay. Near disney entrance, free parking and wi-fi, attentive staff. If we will be back to disney again , probably we will stay there again. We stayed at the uppermost floor 9th floor facing disneyland resort and we paid extra for it. At night , you can see the firework from your hotel/room veranda. A tip for future traveller, just book lower floor rooms, say 6th floor to 8th floor as long as it faces disney, it might save you some money(assuming they wont charge for it). We requested early check in but since it a holiday weekend, we were not accomodated but if your checking out but dont want to park inside disneyland , just tell them and they will allow you to park still at the hotel even you checked out already till 5 pm on that day.

My husband, my nine year old nephew and I stayed at the Fairfield Inn Anaheim for three nights over Memorial day weekend. Overall it was a very nice stay with a few minor issues that were quickly resolved.

We got a great deal on a vacation package through Alaska Airlines but on arrival the front desk clerk informed us that their records indicated we were not supposed to arrive until the 26th. I showed her a print out of my online reservation, she made a few phone calls and got everything straightened out. Even though we arrived around Noon and check-in wasn't until 4pm, we were given a room on the top floor with a great view of both parks and the nightly fireworks show. We were also given a voucher for a free pizza, one free in-room movie and a package of microwave popcorn. Not sure if this was because of the mistake with our room or just part of the package we booked with Alaska. Either way, it was a nice surprise.

When we got up to our room we found that neither room key would work. A maintenance man who was working a few doors down tried to let us in but his keys wouldn’t work either. He radioed for security and we were told our locks would need to be replaced. My nephew was anxious to get to Disneyland so the security guy offered to wait in our room until the lock had been replaced and told us to stop by the front desk to pick up new keys when we got back. Problem solved, no big deal!

The room itself was large, the beds were comfortable and everything was very clean. We received two Queen beds, as we had requested, and there were lots of nice, comfy pillows on both beds. The bathroom was pretty small but served its purpose. The free internet in the rooms was great as we had purchased Ridemax software which needed an internet connection. I also liked that we were able to print our boarding passes for our return flight using the free computer and printer in the lobby.

The location couldn’t be beat – only a 10 minute walk to the gates at Disney. We were able to come back to the room mid-day for a quick nap and head back over to the parks before dinner.

Parking wasn’t an issue for us, there were always plenty of spots available.

There is a well-stocked gift shop on the first floor. We stopped to buy bottles of water before heading to Disneyland. The on-site Pizza Hut was good as was the Seattle’s Best Coffee. We also ate nearby at Millie’s and Mimi’s which were both just fine. If you want to save a few bucks you can sign up for their email clubs right before you go and they’ll send you some discount coupons.

We only used the pool and hot tub one day but there was plenty of seating and towels available.

All in all this is a nice place for the money and we will return the next time we’re in the area.

Just here for one night over Memorial Day weekend. Hotel perfectly met our needs. Nice, large, clean room. Convenient access to Disneyland, saved on parking money too! They called while we were at Disneyland to say our room was ready several hours before the 4:00 check-in time. Overall quite a decent stay.

This hotel met all of our basic needs. The room was clean, the customer service was great and it was very convenient to Disneyland being only a 5 minute walk away. The front desk let us check in early...very early, in fact. We arrived around 8:30 am. and check in wasn't until 4, but they let us check in anyway. The front desk staff is very professional and very friendly. The check in process was quick and efficient.

We moved our luggage up to our room on the 4th floor and immediately left for Disneyland. I got a phone call while at Disneyland from the hotel because apparently our room was scheduled for maintenance and they wanted to know if it was okay to move us to a different room. We were informed that a member of their security team would be moving our belongins and we were fine with that. At the end of the day, we returned to the hotel and got our new rooms keys. We were pleasantly surprised to find that they had upgraded us to a park view room which let us watch the fireworks right outside our door.

Overall, the lobby was nice, the parking is fine, the rooms were clean, and we were happy.

We go to Disneyland a few times a year. We have stayed in all three Disney hotels as well as several other ares hotels. Our experiences in all of them have been average to awful. The Disney hotels are nice, but pricey. The other hotels have been so-so, and generally, also pricey. One of them was a total nighmare - the maid left our door open all day! We found this out at about 1am when we returned to the room from the Disneyland Resort, and our room door was propped open with the dead-bolt arm!

The Fairfield Inn, in contrast especially, was a fine exerience. The staff was very friendly. The room was clean but very simple - you can see how the property used to be a motel. All the room doors open to the outside. The "bones" of the room were motel style - the a.c. was primitive, the vanity was basically part of the bedroom, the tub was a bit squat, etc. But Fairfield Inn papered the walls, put in their furniture, etc., so it felt OK, not cheap and icky. The bath towels were barely larger than hand towels, though... And the hotel was a quick walk to Disneyland. I booked online, so the rate was reasonable. My advice is to book somewhat in advance, because this hotel seems to book a lot of tour groups, and it was full. We booked only about a week in advance and we got a 1st floor room, facing the back parking lot. You can see how the view would be nice if you could stay in a room facing front, from a higher floor. Space Mountain is right across the street, and Matterhorn is visible, too.

Another nice thing was being able to buy Seattle's Best coffee in their third floor snack area.

All in all, a fair property, but nice staff, close walk to Disneyland, and good price. You could do a lot worse.

I stayed here for the convenience of how close the hotel was to Disneyland. You couldn't get better value for money. The staff were very friendly, good shop which is small but has most things you need, free internet in the lobby, and a clean room. I booked through Hotels.com who have great deals and change from day to day so just keep your eye on them and you will pay the price you have in your head!!!! It is a 5min walk to Disneyland and you can see the fireworks with no problem from the hotel. The big bangs can get a little noisy though!! All in all I would stay here again.

I researched a lot of hotels around the Disneyland area for our trip to the parks. I ultimately settled on the Fairfield Inn due to a good prize on Orbitz and it's reliability as a chain. I had stayed at other Fairfield Inn's so I knew what to expect.

We checked in around 10pm on the last day of Easter break and it was very crowded. The front desk staff were not overwhelming friendly, but still polite and very quick to get us a room. Due to the crowds, and the fact that they had several parking spots blocked off for tour busses, we couldn't find a parking space. We did end up finding one later that night after heading to the store.

We had a king room and it was very large. I found the bed to be comfortable, I don't know if my fiance feels the same. It's a very plush, pillowy bed, so if you prefer something firmer you may not be happy. But after a long day at Disneyland I think you'll sleep fine regardless. The room was very, very clean. I have to admit I was impressed with how clean it was. My major complaint about the room is that the heavy drapes do not close. They are there for show and only a thin, gauzy curtain gives you privacy from the outside world. We ended up using an extra binder clip to fasten the curtains together to keep out light and passers by.

Pros:
Super close walk to Disneyland
Comfy beds
Very clean
Large rooms
Free WiFi
Well stocked gift shop
Fridge

Cons:
Parking can be a problem if crowded
Lack of full curtains/privacy
Pool can be noisy
