We stayed here for one night. I booked a standard room with a king size bed and a sleeper sofa and had requested a room with a view of Disneyland. I was told that they did not have a room with a park view available, which was not important anyways. Upon arrival, at 9 pm, there was no available self parking, literally. After 30 minutes of searching I found a spot quite far from my assigned room. When I called to book the room I asked if breakfast was included with the room and they said it was. After I got settled in my room (which ended up being a Disney themed room with a Disneyland view). The room was clean, I had a new pair of socks on and they were still clean, not even a dull hint of dirt! Plenty of pillows on the bed, an extra blanket available and a good supply of towels. Marriott beds are usually comfy, though this bed was a little firmer than I recall their standard beds being it was still comfy. There wasn't a microwave in the room which would have been nice. I called the front desk to find out what the serving times were and the clerk said there was no complimentary breakfast. There is a McDonald's, Millie's, and Mimi's within a one or two minute walk. The location was right across the street from Disneyland and would easily be a 10 minute or less walk, you'd save $5 on parking fees and avoid the hassle of the crowded trams. All the staff I encountered were friendly and helpful. The fire alarm malfunctioned in the middle of the night (1:40ish til 2:30) SO inconvenient to have bright strobe lights and alarms going off. Hopefully they can resolve it quicker if it ever happens again. Overall it was ok, not really an excellent value but a good value.

My husband and I stayed here in early June 2013 with our almost-4-year-old daughter. We paid extra for the Disney themed room and requested a "princess room," knowing our daughter would love it. When we arrived, all my requests were granted--a princess room with two queen beds on a high floor facing the park so we could watch the fireworks. That night, my daughter was able to experience a little bit of Disney even though we wouldn't visit the parks until the next day. The staff here knows there is a lot of competition from neighboring hotels (there are tons of hotels catering to Disney guests all around), and they go out of their way to prove to you that this is the best place to stay outside the Disney hotels themselves--kindness, quick to respond to problems, and accommodating. I did tons of research before we settled on the Fairfield, and we were not disappointed. We walked to the parks every morning, walked back in the afternoon for a cat nap, and then back again in the evening for three days straight. My daughter never complained about the walk, it never took us longer than 10 minutes, and we never needed a car. We visited the coffee shop on the 3rd floor every morning for lattes, fruit, and croissants before we hit the parks. Our rooms were very quiet, and we were not bothered by the highway or guest noise. One negative to note: when we returned each afternoon to rest in our rooms (around 2:45 p.m.), our rooms were never cleaned. Perhaps because we were on a high floor and they cleaned those last? I had to call the front desk before we left for the park again to ask them to clean the room everyday, but it was always immaculate when we returned. Overall, I'd highly recommend this hotel if you're going to Disneyland and do not wish to pay the high prices of the Disney resorts. It is literally just as close as the Disneyland Hotel and Paradise Pier, just on the opposite side of the park.

Room Tip: Request a high floor facing the park so you can view the fireworks. If you go to bed early (before 1...

Close proximity to Disneyland main gates. Good value and nice and clean. We stayed on 3rd floor overlooking the pool (which the kids loved). No problems parking our vehicle. We would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Disneyland!

Stayed at the Fairfield Inn Anaheim for 3 nights while we visited Disneyland. The hotel was super convenient to the parks and was an easy walk. There were many food options near by, and the room even came with a mini fridge. We checked in early and the room they gave us was on the ground floor next to the pool. It was a little noisy with pool noise, but not really that big of a deal. We were still on Texas time and went to bed early, but we would just turn on the tv and it would drown out the pool noise.
McDonalds is very convenient as well as the Pizza Hut on the third floor. It was an expensive pizza, but we were tired and paid for the convenience of not having to leave the hotel for food.
We had a King size bed which was very comfortable. The provided hair dryer worked great. The complimentary toiletries were small, but they did replace them every day.
Our only complaint about our room was the toilet was very close to the wall and if you were a big person it would have been very tight.
The staff at the front desk was very helpful and welcoming when we checked in. I would stay here again.

Room Tip: If you want a quiet room, don't get one by the pool.

We stayed here for two nights and were pretty happy with the overall value. The hotel itself is nothing spectacular but it's pretty nice and more than met our expectations. The proximity to the Disneyland entrance is literally a 4 minute walk, which gave this hotel a huge plus.
I would not pay extra for the Disney themed rooms, but maybe bring your kids each a small Disney toy from home and make it seem like Mickey Mouse-Santa brought them as a welcome to Disneyland.

We Moved to this Fairfield Inn Anaheim Disneyland Resort after 1 night at Hampton Inn & Suites Garden Grove. Definitely very Happy with the Decision to stay here.

From the moment I step infront of the Front Desk & into my room.
Bernie who handled my check in, make me feel so Welcome with a Big smile & the casual small talk we had, made checking in so relaxing :D....

We had email hotel before our trip, for a room facing Disney on a High Floor (So we can watch the Firework) but on check in, we were Given a room facing the Santa Ana Freeway. Was just disappointed for a second, however Bernie Explained that the Room on high floor Facing Disney are Not ready for check in (At 11.15am); so she had allocated a available room facing the back on a high floor, away from lift landing for us to check in early. It is a compliment upgrade from the Standard Room we had booked to a Disney Theme Room. Bernie had encourage us to give the room a try & if we are not happy with it, we could always go down & let her know we like a change.
She provide the FFI FAQ Sheet to us, so we know where things are & also information on the Complimentary Wireless Internet Network (Good Internet Connection). The bed was comfy & I only wished the Pillow was firmer.

Go Glad we got this room throu, as it was the second last room on the corridor with no one walking by. If there are any noises from the Freeway, it die down before we need to sleep at Night. The sofa, bed, coffee maker & bathroom were all clean.
The Aircon was a Little noisy after sometime but lucky the weather is cool at night, hence we off it after the room had cool down. We never had any housekeeper knocking on our door, even when we woke up late & we still came back to room that been nicely cleaned after a day at Disney.
There are Drink Vending Machine & ice Machine on each floor & also a Laundry room about 4 room away from us & it's never busy.

Disney was only 7min slow walk away from the Hotel. On the Way back to Hotel, there is the Pizza Press for Cheap & fresh Pizza. While Service at IHOP was good, the food (Except the soup) was not (First time I came across a Salty Pancake)

I would definitely recommend this Hotel to anyone looking for hotel within walking distance to Disney. We never drive But we took the Bus from Hampton Inn to here & Also Took the same Bus# 43 to go Fullerton Amtrak Station from here. Bus stop was Just before u cross the road to Disney Main Entrance.

Room Tip: it is Ok to have no Disney view, as it is better to watch it inside Disney then from a Distance. As...

Just got back from our Disneyland vacation which we booked through Southwest Vacations.
We stayed at the Fairfield for 4 nights. It's proximity to Disneyland is certainly a strong point (it really is only a 5 minute walk, if that), you can see the fireworks well from the pool or certain rooms, but I thought the best feature was how quiet it was. We were on the 3rd floor facing Disneyland, and even though we were just steps away from the often busy Pizza Hut/Seattle Coffee station, our room was quiet and peaceful. It was pretty tight for 5 of us (the 6 year old slept on the fold out chair), but it worked. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

The only downside is no continental breakfast and the Pizza Hut/Seattle Coffee station is very expensive and often busy. We opted to eat at the nearby Mimi's, which was convenient, reasonably priced, and excellent food.

We spent most of our time at Disneyland and California Adventures so didn't have the opportunity to lounge at the pool, but it looked clean and well kept. Our room was cleaned daily and although they were a little stingy with the shampoo/conditioner I have absolutely no complaints. I definitely would stay here again.
