This restaurant offers the highest quality of sushi in the area. Best sushi I had outside Japan. Highly recommended.

Hands down, best sushi around. Small place with great customer service. They are in the small strip mall behind El Pollo Loco on Aliso Viejo Pkwy and Pacific Park. We even took our small children there for an early dinner and they were so accommodating for little ones.

This is some of the best Sushi in South Orange County run by Japanese. It is now in the Whole Foods shopping Center in Aliso Viejo but moving next February. This place should be crowded but isn't. What a pity. Perhaps they will do better in their new location. Try it.

Sometimes people order the usual rolls and such at a sushi bar. However, when you go to Bistro Anju, you have to get the Omakas - or Chef's Choice. Hideki Saito creations surprises the palate and takes you beyond the basic "sushi". Try the foie gras appetizer, the uni, oyster parfait in a martini glass, The rice cracker encrusted sea bass is amazing! My husband doesn't eat lamb chops but he does at Bistro Anju! He won't have it anywhere else. Not even when I cook it. Overall, you cannot go wrong when you leave yourself into Hideki San's hands.
