We loved this restaurant at first bite. Actually, a little before that, when we met the people running the place. We felt very welcomed, and every need was met almost before we thought of it. The food was considerably out of the ordinary - each dish beautifully presented and dissimilar from the others in taste.
We feel we'd lucked into a real treasure at White Lotus. In checking out the restaurant after our first meal there, we discovered that the chef is recognized nationally for Asian cuisine. No wonder we were so delighted with the meal she made for us!
PS - If you've been intrigued by durian fruit, but always a little afraid to try it, procrastinate no more, White Lotus has a durian dessert that presents only the positives of the fruit - truly delectable.
