Food is mediocre. Taco salad very plain, not enough dressing and poor flavor. Artichoke very small, undercooked and no flavor. Ribs were tasteless, looked and tasted boiled, gamey flavor. Inexcusable when there are so many barbecue rib places in the East Bay. This place was previously owned by a woman from Alamo, now has changed hands, quality has suffered.

My husband and I came in for breakfast. We sat in the patio area on a beautiful sunny day. The food was great. Loved the spicy fried potatoes, Alamo omelet and the pineapple scone I just had to try. The Skinny vanilla Latte I had was really great as well.
Our server was Sandy a real fun and down to earth waitress who gave us the best service!
When we were getting ready to leave and they new we were traveling far to go home they brought my husband out a to-go glass of iced tea without us asking for one. Who does that?!
Can't wait to go back!

Yummy chicken salad sandwich made with roasted chicken, pears, cherries, and pecans, served on toasted wheat berry bread....served with a side salad with creamy balsamic vinaigrette or French fries. The menu had appetizers, entree salads, and sandwiches of chicken, beef, and seafood...excellent choices.
You can eat inside or choose the outdoor patio.
One of the ladies I was with commented that she thought it was loud. Heck, there were 5 of us...we could have been the loud ones! That won't stop me from giving it an all over rating of 5 stars.
Sister restaurant is The Little Pear in Blackhawk Plaza...same menus

Located right in downtown Alamo, the Pesant's Courtyard offers a nice courtyard setting for sitting outside and enjoying a beautiful day. The menu is not fancy and offers a nice mixture of good tasty food. Everybody should be able to find something they like on the Pesant's Courtyard menu. There is also usually a daily special. Good place to go when you want to sit outside for lunch or dinner.

Love the atmosphere, small and quaint. Wonderful service and great food. Very child friendly, too!
