“Very, very Fresh”
Reviewed May 29, 2014

Best Chinese in Alameda "Hands Down". Everything on their menu is very fresh. They have live fish in tanks. My wife and I always order WAY too much food and take enough home for a couple more meals..
Try the Salt and Pepper Asparagus, Sizzling Rice Soup, Honey Walnut Prawns, and the Sesame Chicken. Makes me want to go there for their Dim Sum lunch today! If you have never dined here before, give this place a try, hou won't be disappointed.

“Delicious”

Great pot stickers, Moo Shu Pork and Hot and Sour soup. I did take out so I can't say much about the service.

“Great East Bay Dim Sum”
Reviewed May 11, 2014

No need to go into SF for dim sum. This place in Alameda is great at a good price too. 10 ate for Mother's day and it was $14 + tip/person. Yang Sing in SF would be double. Dim Sum was great, service good, cart rotation good, ordered beef chow fun dry and it too was very tasty. They have these unique mochi/custard grilled desserts that we found years ago at Tong Kang in SF and after 5 plates there were lots of smiles. We went at 9 AM to assure a large table. Leaving an hour later the lobby was full and many waiting outside for a table. Good sign of a good food.

“Nicely different!”
Reviewed April 25, 2014 via mobile

We came on a Thursday at 5:30 and hardly anyone here in this large space.
Very nice staff. We had the fried shrimp and potstickers for apps and the "B" light dinner selection.
The red sauce was spicy and not like the regular ketchup based dipping sauce. Very tasty.
Same with the hot mustard. Different, but very good.
Did not try the dim sum. Just Chinese.
Too full to eat more than a few bites of the rice and sweet and sour chicken so there were 2 nights of dinner for the price of 1.
$60.00 incl tip with 2 Tsing Tao.

“Dim sum”
Reviewed April 16, 2014

Really busy place in Alameda. The parking is awful. We were seated right away though. The food kept coming. Service was good. Most of the food was delicious. If it looks good, try it.
