First-class restoration of a 1932 movie palace with additional multiplex. The same architect, Timothy Pfluger, designed San Francisco's Castro Theater and Oakland's Paramount. It is a testament to his genius that all three have been preserved. Even if you don't choose a film on the main screen, ask the usher (yes they have real ushers straight out of central casting--not skittish, sullen teens) when you can peek inside Screen One. Gorgeous architectural details throughout. Good snack bar selections including fresh brewed ice tea and a good value kid's pack.
