The Bluebird Mine and curio shop is a step back in time to the 1960s. Bronson's garage found this filming location for the 1969 NBC-TV show Then Came Bronson. Over the years there have been numerous movies filmed in or around the Bluebird Mine. Lewis Ruiz and a cast of characters can give you details on everything that's ever happened at the Bluebird since the mid-1960s. Lewis has been there since 1967 when he got out of the Army after returning from Vietnam. This attraction is certainly worth a stop for something cold to drink, buy a few postcards or colorful rocks, and look over the other curio items on display which there are many, if you like rattlesnake stuffed they have it.Lewis, thank you for a fun day, we enjoyed listing to all your stories, hang in there and we'll see you on the long lonesome highway.
