A great museum of cowboy film memorabilia and Superstition mountain with volunteers who care and are incredibly informative. Be surprised in the chapel to see Elvis at the top of the aisle - walk the trail to get closer to Superstition mountain but be wary of the tarantula and rattlesnakes.

This volunteer run museum is great. The historical society is doing a fabulous job preserving local history. Anyone the least bit interested in Arizona's most colorful legend MUST go to this museum.

Got here early on a very hot day but nice to walk around the site and it's all free. The train layout is good when it's running and many films were made there particularly Elvis in Charro. An enjoyable visit

Wonderful museum full of the history of the Superstitions including the lore of the Lost Dutchman and others who have search for the gold! If you are a fan of old westerns you will love visiting the Apacheland movie ranch Elvis Chapel and the Apacheland barn where many of the old westerns will filmed. The gift shop features a wonderful selection of books including history of the area, trails for hikers, atvs and dog lovers, original Indian arts and fun Arizona mementos. Lots of great free lectures during the winter/spring season, classes and art events, well worth the visit!
