We had a super day out here there was lots to see and do...The Town is Free to walk around & get into,... We decided to buy the Trio Ticket which covered the Gold Mine Tour, Mystery Shack & Train all 3 Tours for $21.. it was lots of fun, the Gold Mine Tour was pretty interesting with lots of information & old mining tools to see, also it was nice and cool down there. The Mystery Shack is a must see the shack is all lopsided it feels strange walking in parts of it this really plays with your head! Its a real cool place to visit, and the wee train journey takes you around the perimeter of the ghost town nice for picture taking of the Superstition Mountains in the background. We also went for lunch in the Mammoth Saloon Bar..The Ghost Town is a real reconstruction of an old Mining Town it has loads of wee souvenirs stores to wonder around in, a small Church, Ice cream, Fudge stores, Museum, Saloon, there is lots to see and do and is definitely worth a day visit you can easily spend between 2-3/ 3-4 hrs in this place....& there’s plenty of washrooms. ..Great day out.

A bit of Hollywood escapism in the desert from the saloon to the bordello all interesting albeit not very believable.

I love this little tourist attraction ghost town. A lot of ambiance, some fun things to do, and decent souvenir shopping. Loved the apothecary, and came home with a few potions from this cute shop.

I do like visiting this place and most of it is free to see,it is one of the best places to see the Superstition mountains and I've taken a lot of good shots here, they have cowboy shootouts at the weekend. Its a great place if you like cowboys and the history of mining.

The area is small but is interesting. It is extremely hot in summer but nice to get the train and go down to the mine with a cooler temperature. We spent 2 hours there.
