First time here and will go back. Stayed in a lodge room, a cabin will be the next trip. Awesome place to enjoy nature and have human interaction which doesn't seem to happen anymore. Enjoyed hiking and simply just being. Great staff all around.

It was exactly what we had expected...very rustic...Stayed in the Coronado Room # 24 Very Comfortable. extremely nice staff...Bethany was a pleasure she wears many hats, as does Laura... great hiking..weather was at it's best...stayed in a Lodge room ..room was very clean nicely decorated and great view of the Meadow.
Would highly recommend this for a weekend getaway....food in the Restaurant was very good as are their portions. We left and are already planning our next stay this fall...possibly in a cabin with friends.

This was our 7th stay at Hannagan Meadow Lodge in eight years. Unfortunately we missed last year due to the Wallow fire. The location is stupendous for a quiet hiking weekend. We have stayed in several different cabins and we loved them all. This year we noticed new furniture inside and on the porch as well. Each cabin has either a fireplace or wood stove. In August it has been sunny in the mornings and rainy and chilly in the afternoons. It's a perfect getaway from the Phoenix area. The staff is friendly and you can hang out on the front porch of the lodge or enjoy complete privacy at a cabin. We meet my in-laws who come from NM and enjoy a great family reunion, playing frisbee and eating outdoors. We have been coming to Hannagan since my son was 9 months old and we love it! If you don't like to hike it's great to sit on the porch and read or just gaze out at the beautiful meadow. You will likely spot eagles, hawks, elk, deer, and at night, the great Milky Way. I can't say enough wonderful things about Hannagan Meadow Lodge! I wish I could go there once a month!

Great place to relax. Spent our 33rd Anniversary there. Staff was great. Restaurant did a great job. We will return. It was in the 70s in August, until it rained, then 56. Drove back to Phoenix (why?) and it was 105! Really enjoyed ourselves.

Our family had 2 wonderful nights in Lily Cabin #5. Every where you look is beautiful! We worried about being bored but found a lot of joy and fun just playing outside around the cabin and walking the property. We had two 60 year olds, two 30 year olds, two 20 year old and two kids under 5. Everyone found something enjoyable to do. Weather was perfect too, in the high 70's. Will definitely go again!

Room Tip: Watch out for the moths at night. Not terrible but close the doors and windows as the sun goes down...

My ladies friend and I decided to stay here one night (Thursday) after exploring the surrounding area. We were surprised to hear there was still snow on the ground over the holiday weekend, The service was second to none. From the minute we arrived we felt like family. We arrive late after 8:30pm and the kitchen just close, but the owner cook us some grill cheese sandwiches and soup which was great. We got the last room which was the honeymoon suite was roomy and immaculate we did not have a reservation. We highly recommend it for people who want to get away and see some beautiful terrain in a quiet and inviting spot. Just remember this place is out in the meet of nowhere so don't expect quick service and the restaurant prices are a little high because everything has to be truck in to the place.

We spent a couple of nights in the Riley Cabin. The location was gorgeous and the staff was warm, friendly, and helpful. The cabin was comfortable and we enjoyed the fact that our cell phones didn't work and there was no television to distract us. We didn't eat at the restaurant, but the food looked great. We'll definitely return!
