My son and I were in Auburn in 2012 at a football game and bought sandwiches for tailgating. We dreamed of those sandwiches until we were on the Plains again in April this year. BBQ pork sandwiches and the best tea ever. Thanks, Price's, for your delicious food and great service!

One of a few good BBQ places in the area, but the breakfast is where they out shine the others.
2 eggs cooked to order, biscuits, hashbrowns, any meat you want, unlimited coffee. Waffle House who?

The BBQ House is one of those Auburn traditions. It's literally right across the street from campus. It's stays packed with a good atmosphere and good people.

The room is a bit small for the amount of tables so there's not much maneuvering room. It's hell on someone with crutches, larger folks, wheelchairs, and toddler seats.

The food is good with not a lot of selection. It's the basics that you would want with BBQ though! The baked chicken is hit or miss- I've had it perfect but I've also had it dry. It's a thin vinegar base BBQ sauce that's on everything. So if that's not your thing, I'd head down the street to Mike and Ed's. (Their sides are WAY better anyway.)

Honestly, since we've discovered Mike and Ed's, we don't eat here anymore.

Driving back from Montgomery to Atlanta. Our group stopped for dinner at this restaurant en route. It was absolutely fabulous! They had sold out of ribs. The chicken was superb. And best potato salad I have had in years. If I could have packed some back to take to DC, I would have. Very good prices.

We always have to eat at the barbecue house when we are in auburn. It is always consistently good. Staff is very friendly. And the peanut butter pie is great!
