Everything was perfect from the moment we walked in the door! The atmosphere, food, drink and service were all spot on! Highly recommend the Bee Keeper cocktail!

Thoroughly enjoyed this brand new restaurant in Auburn, Alabama. The setting is upscale, delightful and the food and service were tops. The shrimp and grits are a must have and are different from the normal New Orleans flavored. We will definitely go back to Acre to try the other goodies on their menu!

Acre is a beautiful new restaurant in Auburn. The menu is divided into three categories: family, farmer and foodie. The owner-chef is committed to using locally grown produce and cheeses. The menu is not extensive, but there are options for both adventurous and non-adventurous diners. We had reservations and were seated on the outside patio as soon as we arrived. The service was attentive and our waitress was happy to answer questions about the menu. Everything we ate was beautifully prepared and very tasty. Our choices were more traditional: Harvest soup, flat-iron steak, shrimp and grits, fried pear pie. The hubby drank draft beer and I had wine. Total bill, including drinks was about $70. We will definitely be back.

Outstanding experience! Showed up without a reservation and they worked us in very quickly. This is very new restaurant is Auburn; however, as long as they "do what they do" they will become a fixture in very short order. The chef even met with us early on and we found out about his longstanding ties in the community. The service is wonderful and accommodating! This is southern cooking taken up to a level of elegance rarely enjoyed; one simply must experience it rather than be told about the effect.

Thank you very much for an incredible dinner. Our server was pleasant very knowledgeable and excited to have us there for dinner. finally a restaurant in Auburn that offers upscale food and drinks and probably one of the most pleasant and friendly staff I've had the pleasure of dinning with in years,(from the hostess, our server Jonesy, and the chefs that we were actually able to watch and talk to while our dessert was prepared). A truly refreshing and unique dinning experience.
