“Best bet for a burger before Game”
Reviewed January 3, 2009

Auburn is not known as a burger town. Cheeburger offers the best of the this type of offering. Usually packed on Gameday - we find the burger good, the fries and rings out of this world, and the servive very typical of a college town. Prices are a little high - but do yourself as favor - fill up before going to the statium. Say yourself a bank loan and the indegistion. No question better burgers exist in the SEC - probably not in Auburn!

“Auburn - not a burger town”
Reviewed April 26, 2008

The only reason these are the "best burgers in Auburn" is because there are no other burger places in Auburn. If you're really craving a good burger I'd recommend Chili's or Niffer's.

“Best Burgers in Auburn”
Reviewed February 26, 2008

We absolutely love Cheeburger Cheeburger in Auburn. Located in downtown Auburn on the same block as Toomers Corner, this location has been in business since the early 1990s at least, a long life for a college town burger place. During our most recent visit the service was fast and friendly. The interior is decorated like a 1950’s dinner with metal tables and chairs and lots of neon. Several wall mounted TVs allow patrons to keep up with the hometown Auburn University Tigers and other sports. Milkshakes and cheeseburgers dominate the menu with an incredible variety of each. The cheeseburgers are essentially “build your own” with over a dozen toppings available at no additional charge. The highlight for us is the onion rings, light, crispy and oh so good – order a big basket and just walk across the street to the Chevron gas station to buy breath mints if you must, but these onion rings are not to be missed. Our order was prepared correctly and dining was not rushed. It took a little longer than I would like to get our check, but I will give them a break as it was a busy basketball game weekend. We keep coming back here and list it among our favorite Auburn dining experiences along with Niffers, Auburn Ale House, Buffalo Connection, Momma Goldberg’s, and the Barbecue House.
