“DON'T EAT HERE EVER!!!”
Reviewed August 18, 2012

number one, if you knew how the food was prepared you would never want to eat it again and the food is never fresh, it's always cooked ahead of time and then kept under a heating lamp type thing. number two, the management treats the employees like crap. They scream at them and scold them as if they were their dog. Personally being called worthless and lazy is not the way to encourage someone to want to work for you. The restaurant manager, the skinny blonde woman, is very rude and the bigger woman with dark hair is even more abrasive than the other woman. Oh and keep an eye on your servers, they will snatch a few pieces of pickles or popcorn shrimp from your plate, this I know for a FACT! I've never in my life had an experience like this. I guess I just always assumed that grown adults would act in a more respectable fashion. Guess I was wrong.

“Very good catfish”
Reviewed August 13, 2012

We took a 2 hour motorcycle ride over to Top O' The River to have lunch and we weren't disappointed. We had the fried dill pickles as an appetizer and they were good, the dip they served with them was good (not a ranch dip). We all had the fried catfish and baked potatoes. The catfish was very fresh and tender. Probably some of the best catfish this southern girl has eaten. It's a good place for groups, plenty of seating. Even though they were very busy on a Sunday afternoon, the service was very good. I'm already looking forward to our next trip over there.

“Amazing!! MUST try this restaurant! It's worth the drive from anywhere!”
Reviewed July 8, 2012 via mobile

After tasting the starters, complimentary coleslaw, & skillet-baked cornbread, we were already enjoying the best meal we'd had in a long time! Marinated onions were out of this world! We ordered whole catfish, catfish filets, deviled crab, Cajun-boiled Shrimp, baked potatoes and everything was out of this world!! Even the baked potatoes were cooked too perfection! We had a super waiter, super service, super experience!! We can't wait to get back to Anniston to eat there again'
