“One Of The Best You Will See”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 2, 2013

This is a must when visiting Washington. This attraction is full of facts, stats and endless information to keep you interested for hours. They really have put a great deal of effort into making this a great museum. You must set aside at least two hours to have any chance of taking in this excellent attraction. Don't miss out on what is without doubt one of a kind.

Thanks sooo much for the great review. You are right - we are one of kind! We work hard to provide good information (and juicy details!) for our exhibits and artifacts - nice to know you enjoyed that. Next time try one of the forensic workshops - I think you'd really enjoy it! Susan

“worth the money!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 30, 2013 via mobile

We spent 3 hours here and it captured the attention of my 7 and 17 year old children. We went on a Monday afternoon and there was no line. Interactive exhibits thru-out, our fav was the officer driver's simulator and shoot-out with the bad guys. Fun!

Hi teresa195, So happy that your entire family enjoyed their visit. That's one of the best things about our Museum - that it can capture the interest of different age groups. Younger kids might stay more involved with interactives while those older can appreciate the in-depth information we provide in our various galleries. We do realize there are a lot of free museums out there and work hard to make sure all our guests feel it is “worth the money”!! Susan

“Crime Museum”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 30, 2013

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Crime and Punishment Museum. This was our first visit and we plan to return when we have more time to spend at the numerous exhibits. Everyone in our group hated to leave because there were so many interesting stories to read. We recommend visiting the museum when you have ample time to spend.

Thank you for your visit and kind words, we are delighted that your group had fun. We would love you to come back and spend more time with us! :-) Spend the day...
Typically people allow 1.5-2 hours, but the CSI/Law Enforcement fans typically spend the day with us.

“A lot of fun - sign up for one of the extra activities in the crime lab”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 29, 2013

There's a lot to see and do. We spent almost 4 hours trying to see everything. A lot of the displays have some very minor materials, but they are shown and explained in a very interesting manner. In DC, it's a little tough to spend a lot of money in a museum because so many of them are free or reasonably priced, but I thought this was a good place to visit.
