The hotel is very well located to the mall and the White House. The room was one of the smaller I have been in recently. The breakfast buffet was free with the room, and fine, not wonderful, although the waffles were a big hit.

Nothing really out of the ordinary, good or bad, at this nice property in the heart of DC. It is an older hotel, one of very few built during WW2, being completed in 1943. Location is its best asset, with a short drive fro Reagan Airport, and only 2 blocks from the White House.

Been there twice, in both times the quality of the services were excellent.
The rooms are big and clean, but sometimes you have to walk for 2 minutes to get to your room if you have a corner room. The toilets are medium size but has almost everything needed. The location of the hotel is very good, just two blocks away from the White House which makes it an awesome place to everything else.

The ballroom is excellent and very big, it can take 1000 people or maybe more. Also the shop in the lobby offers very good quality souvenirs and clothes. The lobby is big enough for 40 people attending at the same time.

It has a free wireless connection in the lobby ONLY, and you have to pay for the one in your room. The TV is bigger than 38 inch LCD, it's maybe something in 40s inch. There're enough electrical sockets for all your electronic devices at the same time.

Room Tip: The corner rooms are big, but because the streets is noisy sometimes it's not a good idea. Doub...

I stayed here for one night before leaving town. The hotel is blocks from the White House and lots of restaurants. Check-in was fast and efficient. We had an executive floor room that looked out onto 16th street. The executive lounge was also on our floor. Our room was right next to the elevators which I was not happy about, but it was one of the larger rooms on the floor. Perhaps that's the trade off. The room was nice with a walk-in shower and separate vanity/sink area. The bed was comfortable but the air conditioning seemed to have a hard time cooling the room during the night. Because of the elevator noise and the people getting on and off the elevator throughout the night, I did not get good sleep. The coffee in the room was Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf brand which was better than what was served in the executive lounge. During breakfast the executive lounge was a zoo. I think it is too small for all of the executive floors. There were no hot items offered only some pastries, cereal, fruit, and a giant bowl of hard boiled eggs. The coffee wasn't even very hot. The breakfast you would get at a Hilton Garden Inn or Hampton Inn would be much better and more substantial. They should give executive floor guests the option to eat breakfast in the lobby restaurant. The best part about the hotel is the location. You can easily walk to restaurants in the area and the White House and the mall are a few blocks away. I would stay here only for the location. The overall experience was ok. The valet parking will set you back about $50 which I think is typical for hotels in that area. Considering I didn't have to pay St Regis or Hay Adams prices, which are both right down the street, I guess I can't complain too much.

I stayed here for two nights in july with a couple of colleagues as we had some meetings in the area. The hotel itself is really nice, very imposing lobby with a nice bar in the middle of it. Check in was flawless and I was greeted as a diamond honors member in the usual way. I had a lovely room on the same floor as the honors lounge. Decor is neutral, has a kind of european feel, very comfortable beds and ok size rooms, mine was L shaped, for a city hotel. The flaw is the honors lounge. Breakfast is a scant continental, fruit, cereals etc but the only warm items are toast and hard boiled eggs. I've been to other Hilton's where they have chaffing dishes with eggs, bacon, potatoes etc. additionally the lounge just looks a bit tired and worn. In the evening there are hors douvres, which were quite nice, but if you want an adult beverage, you have to pay for it via an honor system. I would definitely come back, as its quite a cosy hotel and in a great location.

While I'm sure alot of their business is for meetings, the accoutrements here were lacking and the price was such that you really expected them to deliver. For example, the valet parking is about 3-4 times higher than neighborhood garages, also they took about 10 minutes to get my car back. You need to get your car out by 4 pm and a half day was about 6/7 the price of a whole day. Dont expect wireless in your meetings. The buffet breakfast was just "OK"

I didnt stay there but stopped up in a freind's room. About what you would expect at about a 3.5 star quality. The location is pretty good; not too far from the metro.

A very well located hotel within a short walk of the White house. The staff were excellent and the room was very good. I just have one complaint on the cost of wifi , I was charged twice for wifi in my room as I used it on my iPhone and my iPad. I was told the cost was per device ! What a rip off and such a shame as this is a very good hotel .
