Because I accompanied my spouse for a conference she attended, I enjoyed more time in this hotel than she did. This was an enjoyable stay.

Check in was a bit slow, but pleasant, and bell men gave warm welcomes. The room was cozy and clean, and housekeeping was prompt, daily. Enrollment in a special rewards program earned us complimentary coffee and juice delivered to the room each morning.

The king bed offered high quality rest, and the bathroom was clean. The HD TV was adequate (looked like larger than 32 inches). My preference is for a desk and chair so positioned that I can view TV; this was not the configuration of this room. Unlike some other hotels, there were adequate wall outlets for cell phones, computers, and other gadgets.

Two complaints: the air conditioner (as usual with most hotels) was noisy when the compressor kicked in, and this disturbed my sleep. So, despite a perfect bed, sleep quality score, below, will suffer. Second, a microwave nowadays seems necessary rather than luxury - especially as a cooler/mini bottle cooler was in the room (a welcome touch).

While the 7th floor was nice, the room overlooked the lobby and shops' roofs below - not an inviting view. The windows at this level appear to lack regular cleaning (outside surface).

Room Tip: Rooms on the East side gave a view of the street, but building roofs below. Other sides may be bett...

Lovely hotel. Robert's is a must for brunch; sit outside, weather permitting, where you can enjoy the beautiful view. Bring bathing suit in nice weather; very well kept pool with spa. Amenities within one block, including Metro. Very warm and friendly staff; often not found in upscale hotels. Parking expensive, but probably in line with area. Don't bother with the bar, more welcoming places within walking distance.

Omni was a big hotel with two wings, the moment I walked in I felt like in a Vegas hotel without the glitz and slot machines. Service was ok but didn't find staff very attentive, except for the concierge staff they were really courteous when helping with the luggages. Room was large with large walk in closet and large bathroom. Two things you must expect in an old hotel - sewage odor and dripping weak shower, both did happen in our room. There was also this weird piping sound came from upstairs toilet although weak but still a bit annoying. The best part was the ample qty of fluffy towels offered and how close we could walk to the busy street next block for pharmacy and many different kinds of food. I was also relieved that the hotel overall was not creepy at all despite the ghost stories. Good for families and business I guess, but not very well for someone looking for a relaxing vacation.

Beautuful hotel, but batrooms needed more counter space, and amenities/ better fridge, a micriowave... Door room was badly fitted and let in light and noise. Staff was excellent, but restuarant was pricey and coffe shop had only adequate service , poor selection and high prices. Restaurants in local area were better option.

Stone cold reception, terrible service. Received a room with a perfect view to their parking lot. I could open the window and touch my car if my car was park there. When request for a room change, got an standard refusal of the hotel is totally book for tonight. The only four star about the hotel is their lobby where the decors are up to date. The room was old with crack tiles.

Everything from making the reservation to checking in , checking out was done with ease. Attended a business cocktail reception on the veranda. Plenty of room, nice apps, very easy to get a drink, Parking in & out very responsive.
