I go this hotel at least once every couple of months; so i am certainly a fan. although i do have to admit that i was a bit taken aback my last visit; the fire alarm went off 2 times during the night and the late night room service messed up my order (which is pretty unusual for this place so really not a big deal). the best part about this place is the area its located in; it is just 5 minute (if that) walk to the metro and is pretty close to the national zoo (which is awesome) and some good restaurants (Open City, Taste of india, Thai taste, Medaterra and Chen's Chinese are pretty good) . The staff at the Shoreham is always spectacular and are consistent in providing great service when you need it. It is a bit pricey but the location and service makes it certainly worth it.
