Great hotel. Nice room, well located and with a lot of charm. Breakfast is not so good but its also charged separately so you can have it anywhere else. The staff is really kind and helpful. Good price for what it offers.

Good location to the Metro - about a 10 min walk to 2 locations. Quiet neighborhood. Has a European feel in decor and service. Hallways are hot, but room air conditioning worked well. Small boutique hotel with great mattress, friendly staff, breakfast included, and reasonable room rate for D.C.

Location a few minutes from connecticut. quiet room. Room not large but had everything I needed. Felt like I was in a home. Leisure area was neat not crowded. This is not a party place which is great. Nice quiet neighborhood. Walk a little down hill and larger hotels around the corner and many places to eat. Night staff was not helpful ...Day staff was awesome.

Stayed here for 3 nights, the photos looked good , believe me it didn’t look like the photos at all, the room was very small, well used but had everything you needed, the bathroom was very nice. There was a table in the lobby which was the reception area, unfortunately we had two mornings of thunderstorms and the hotel entrance was a foot deep in water, the second time the same thing happened and another guest walked straight down into it , no lessons learned from previous day, no sandbags filled and ready , we were standing on tiptoes in rainwater in the breakfast room trying to get something to eat and take to the room and a staff member came paddling in to ask for our room no lol !! It was without doubt the worst continental breakfast ever, and charged 14 dollars ! each to eat from polystyrene plates mand plastic cutlery ! It is located in a nice residential area but much to far from tourist attractions and up a very steep hill. This “hotel” has no amenities at all , no lounge bar to relax in after a busy day of sightseeing , it really is just somewhere to put your head down, would Defo not recommend. It is described as “boutique” I think more maybe like Phantom Manor lol

This location is desirable due to its proximity to DuPont Circle. However, there clearly is a maintenance issue. In one room, i experience a leak. Then, after being assigned another room on the sixth floor, the air never went below 80 degrees. After brining this to the staff's attention, I was informed there were no other options. The maintenance personnel rendered excuses versus solutions. The entire sixth floor was hot and humid during my stay. The breakfast was lackluster at best and the staff was inconsistent.

Room tip: Avoid the sixth floor
