We went to DC the first week of January and wanted to stay someplace that wasn't a big hotel chain. So, looked online and found The Henely Park Hotel, a historical hotel down by Chinatown. It is a beautiful hotel. The front desk, actually everyone was very nice and helpful. Had a lot questions, staff went out of their way to make us comfortable. Upon checking in, we were given a room upgrade The room was amazing, the lobby is decorated in authentic Victorian furniture and had Christmas decorations still up. There is a really nice restaurant and bar on the first floor, didn't have a chance to eat there, but looked like had nice menu (a little expensive). Think that there is a breakfast buffet on Sundays and live jazz music on Saturday nights. Will definitely be staying there again and recommend checking it out.
