Very nice staff, very thoughtful and caring. Regina at the front desk was very nice and help me when my room was not ready on my arrival. The room was very comfortable with nice beds (stay with my daughter), lighting, I was very impressed with the shower and all the amenities (shower caps, lotion, etc) Breakfast was good with nice selections for the family. For dinner the family ordered from a local restaurant.

our room was OK but the hotel insisted upon coming into our room to repair a couch which was not requested. The repair never happened, what did happen was a BAG was taken from the couch. We don't know what was in the bag but it was unsettling Finally the breakfast starts at six thirty BUT the eggs do not arrive until seven, and they are rubbery, you decide. Location is good.

My family and I (husband and 3 kids) stayed here for the night while in DC. The room was a good size and very clean. The room had a kitchenette in it with a microwave and a small fridge. It also had some plates and cups, which was a nice surprise. It was only a short walk from 2 metro stations and plenty of restaurants. The hotel staff was great - very helpful with everything. Check-in and Check-out was very quick. The free breakfast was good but not great, exactly what I expected. The hotel has no actual restaurant but we were able to order delivery and have it brought to us - a plus when you have three tired kids and sitting in a restaurant for a meal is NOT an option. The hotel doesn't have its own parking garage so they give you a pass to park at the Ritz-Carlton on the next street over, which was very easy to walk to. The only thing that I noticed was that the room really needed to be updated. Otherwise, we enjoyed the hotel and definitely would recommend.

Room Tip: No rooms really have a great view.

Very functional room layout (suite-like) with microwave, wet bar, mini-fridge. Excellent location between Dupont Circle and Foggy Bottom/GWU. Breakfast was crowded with lots of kids but table space is adequate. We entered the room to find the bathroom door in mid-repair (someone kicked a couple of holes in it?) and had to clear up some of the mess. A bit of an oversight between maintenance and management.

Great location, two metro-stations in 5 minutes walking distance, pleasant part of the town. The rooms are spacious, but have no great view. Breakfast is complementary but not top quality. The WIFI was rather unstable.

The Best Western is very clean and very comfortable. The staff was excellent from the front desk on... The rooms are a good size and well outfitted. In room wireless and breakfast for free only add to this hotel being a great value that I would STRONGLY recommend!

Dear NewJerseyTravelinMan,

Nice name! We're guessing you travel a lot. So your compliments mean a lot to us because you've probably had many different experiences at hotels. Thank you so much for your recommendation and compliments. We hope you come back and see us soon!

Washington, D.C. is beautiful in the Spring, especially during Cherry Blossom season when it's not too hot to explore Washington, D.C.! The Japanese Cherry Blossom trees are a beautiful sight to see along the Tidal Basin, Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial and Thomas Jefferson Memorial.

I stayed here with a couple of friends - we planned ahead and didn't want to worry about driving or finding a taxi after a night out. It is a little bit of a walk from the heart of Georgetown, but there are a lot of great places in the immediate vicinity and it's less than a 10-minute walk from the Foggy Bottom Metro station. Parking is available for $25(!) in a neighboring hotel's garage, but I found an on-street spot about 2 blocks away (Saturday evening, so I didn't have to feed the meter).

I was very pleased with the room. I had redeemed a free night from Best Western Rewards and was expecting a basic king bed room, but I got a large suite with a separate bedroom and living room, plus a small kitchenette complete with with a mini-fridge, sink and even plates and cups! Everything was very clean, and they even stocked extra blankets and pillows in the closet.

Unfortunately, this hotel doesn't have any amenities when it comes to a fitness center or pool. I understand they will give passes to a nearby LA Fitness, but their hours are limited, especially on weekends. But they do have an excellent free breakfast until 9:30 (wish it was 10:00 on weekends) - plenty of choices and real plates and silverware, not paper.plates and plastic forks.

The only minor gripe is that my key cards both took several tries to work. I'd get the yellow light to light up on the mechanism, so perhaps the battery was dying? I'd eventually get in each time, but it took several tries. One employee tried to help me on one occasion. It was a minor inconvenience at worst.

All in all, this is a very nice hotel and their rates seem very reasonable given the location and how clean it is.

Dear CosmoVA,

We are so happy that you enjoyed your stay with us, as well as our location, room accommodations, complimentary LA Fitness access and our complimentary deluxe breakfast! We will look into the door key issue. Sometimes the batteries do die from frequent use and I apologize on behalf of our entire staff that you had to experience that. We will resolve the issue and we hope that you will come back a second, or third, time around to give us a chance to extend a warm welcome back to you and your guests.

Sincerely,
