It is located very nicely near the university. It is extremely clean, friendly and priced very well. They offer a nice breakfast, in a very clean facility. I will continue to stay there, for the next 4 years.

I originally planned to stay outside the city, then found the listing for this site, and I thought the convenience was worth the price difference. The location around Foggy Bottom was exactly where I needed to be most of the time, walked to restaurants, walked to sightseeing on the mall, museums, etc, and had access to my car (self parked, convenient and much less pricey than most of the hotels in the area) for trips out of the city. The room was small, ( single queen suite), and would have been difficult with three guests, but perfect for one. Clean, not at all shabby, comfortable, quiet- seemed to have been renovated recently. Breakfast was fine- many choices, so even though the same thing was available every day there were always options. Not gourmet, but the coffee was very good. They did keep platters refilled but sometimes there was a wait. I was there on a weekday and over a weekend, and there were times when it was very busy, as well as slow times. Worst feature of this hotel: wifi was pathetically slow, when it worked. Using an IPad, I had no trouble getting service sometimes, and at other times, absolutely none. Sending or downloading took a long time, but patience was eventually rewarded. Don't come for the spectacular views- there aren't any, but at least the windows let in light. call the hotel directly for reservation. When I called the 800 number they couldn't even find the hotel, never mind rooms.

Needing two rooms on July 4th close to the mall for the Independence Day celebrations the Best Western Georgetown met our needs. The price was good and the location was walking distance to the mall which was perfect for us to enjoy the celebrations without having to fight the crowd to get out of the metro area. The rooms were large, though the a little dated. The staff was helpful, but did not seem very friendly. They came off very cold to me. The room included a kitchenette and a hot breakfast was included. The breakfast was not very good and the sitting area is not very large. It is hard trying to find a place to sit after choosing what to eat. The hotel is about half mile from a metro station.

Only 6 blocks from the Foggy Bottom metro station - so its a good location. But the rooms are a little run down and the next door Savoy apartments are shabby and an ugly view from the hotel. The value for the location is probably good, but you can definitely say this is not a luxe hotel. Staff is nice, but the ladies trying to stay up with the breakfast room cleanup tried to do their best, but too much work for one person to do! So the breakfast room was always in need of a clean up after a guest left the dining area.

Don't plan on wifi. They say they have it but IPhone & Ipad & ipod could not pick up anything with wifi in room or lobby!
Lobby smells musty & our hallway smelt somewhat like mothballs. But - good location & overall ok stay for the money.

Found this hotel on Tripadvisor and we are so glad we did. It suited us perfectly. 3 adults sharing a 2 queen size suite.

We were amazed how quite it was. And the location is excellent. About a 5 minute walk from Foggy Bottom Metro station. 20 minute walk to The White House.

Not much immediately around in terms of restaurants but there are plenty up at Dupont Circle about a 10 minute walk.

One gripe. The wifi connection was not good. Very slow for a laptop and often non existent for a tablet.

Breakfast a it basic and crowded but no complaints.

Room Tip: We stayed in 402 which I think is at the back. Very quiet.

Have not stayed in Best Western in some time. Saw the BW Georgetown Suites and had some reservation about staying here, but rate and location made me make reservation. Was pleasantly surprised to find a very nice hotel. Parking being available with in and out privileges at a very reasonable rate for 24 hour period was also a bonus. Liked hotel so much booked it again 10 days later when had to be in DC once again. Lastly rooms are far larger than I expected which is very nice too.
