I very much enjoyed the veal sweetbread appetizer, but I realize they aren't for everybody. But who doesn't like pizza? The brick oven pizza here is very tasty with classics as well as more original choices. This is a good place for upscale dining as well as finding something kids will eat. Not really a kid atmosphere, but my son and I were taken very well care of.

We had a free breakfast option along with our room. It was a decent breakfast with plenty of fresh fruit juice choice - loved it.

Pizza Chef Anthony Pilla has taken moved from 7th Hill to Urbana. His pizza creations have always been astounding, delicious, and creative. Today was no exception. His carne pizza and his argula pizza, with his freshly made mozzarella were stupendous. Folks sitting at the pizza bar agreed it was their best pizza ever. Everyone who has his pizza says the same thing. I always stop for his pizza whenever I am in DC. Check it out.

Great food and a great deal during Restaurant Week. Will go back there again - and with all the restaurants in DC, that's a real compliment. The average age of diners is about 30 - and it is quite loud. Had the mussels starter and the fish casserole. Both were full of seasonings and made the sourdough loaf disappear.

Urbana's happy hour was wonderful last Friday. The oysters on the half shell were particularly delish with a squirt of lemon and a dab of peppery cocktail sauce. Washed down with a glass of the sparkling wine, we could have made a meal of them. Friendly service and a nice buzz made the hour we spent there especially fun.
