The vegetable and fish sampler was very good. The lamb was excellent as well. Spicy turned out to be mildly so. Skip the wine!
Friendly service.

My husband and I were very fortunate to find Etete. The service was excellent and the food was flavorful. While it is a small establishment, I enjoyed the intimate and soothing surroundings.

Sambusa with lentils was excellent. Also recommend the lamb tibs which were spicy & delicious. The waitress was really friendly to my son who had never had Ethiopian before. Go early before the crowds.

This place has te best Ethiopian food in the DC area. The service is good, the entrees are nicely seasoned and the price is right for this area. I'd recommend everyone try it out!

We had a really good meal at Etete on Monday night after a fun day touring DC. It was kind of funny that the restaurant was virtually empty and they seated us right next to the only other people in the restaurant. All the same, the food was good and very friendly service. We would go there again.
