Ambience : trendy and modern but dimly lit (hence the need for the silly flashlight- magnifier- menu reader)
Food : overall great. We started with a bunch of yummy appetizers - chef's selection charcuterie , tuna tartare and eggplant tempura. Out of the main courses, 2 were disappointing : scallops were too salty and lamb was not as tender we would have liked . Steak and halibut dishes were delicious . Sticky toffee pudding dessert was FABULOUS.
Service: excellent. Treva was fantastic as was the sommelier and peripheral staff. When I mentioned that my scallops were too salty, Treva immediately apologized and offered a redo ( it wasn't necessary but her response and offer were nicely appropriate ). Treva deserves special recognition!
2 disappointing dishes notwithstanding , I would definitely return. This place has a lot to offer.
