Owner description: More than just a wax museum! Madame Tussauds Washington D.C. is a fully interactive experience, where visitors are able to touch, see and hear historical icons and celebrities in a way unlike any other Washington D.C. attraction.

Presidents and Colbert were interesting but other celebs were dated versions and not too well done. Short visit. Not worth full price but at least you could touch them, unlike other wax museums. Not the best Toussad's at all.

Price was reasonable. They do offer a military discount, which was nice. It was great for the kids to get them involved in history and they loved the pop culture and seeing what really did look like real movie stars and singers! My daughter said she had a ton of fun do I think it was worth it! I have been to the one in LA and it was larger but this one was good too!

My hubby and i decided to check out the wax museum. We have done the one in Vegas so we knew what to expect. We bought our tickets 10 minutes before actually going there. We purchased them through the website and paid $30 for 2 adult tickets which was at least a $10 savings onilne. I highly sugget this for some fun while touring around DC.

The first part of this museum was pretty good. Then the deeper we got the more apparent that every Republican figure in the museum was of poor quality, and EVERY democrat was spot on!
It was revolting to see the disparity between how are revered leaders were depicted. Obviously the owner is a democrat! Save your $$$ and go see the NEWSEUM, it's a much better bang for the buck! ~S

We would first like to thank you for visiting Madame Tussauds Washington, D.C. and for providing feedback. Regarding the figures, we strive to provide high quality, life-like wax figures. They are all treated with the same care and respect. Political affiliation has absolutely no bearing on the treatment of the figures. The care and keeping of all wax figures is of the utmost importance and Madame Tussauds prides itself on that. We are sorry that you felt this was not reflected in the figures, but do appreciate your feedback.
