We love this place and used to go more when we lived in the city. The Menu is great and the atmosphere is fun. We are going there on Thursday 5/30 with friends who are visiting from Germany.

This was our first visit after much anticipation. It was somewhat disappointing. We found the service to be truly exemplary and helpful. The crispy spinach appetizer was terrific and we could have probably have devoured another order easily. My friend did not find the shrimp curry to be particularly good (too much sauce compared to shrimp) - we actually both enjoyed the curries at Teaism better the next day. The dishes I ordered (vegetarian combinations including a server recommendation) were well prepared with quality ingredients but not memorable in any way flavor-wise. I would go back for the crispy spinach and perhaps order naan or some different entrees beyond what we tried, but I would not say this was a wonderful dining experience overall.

Way too expensive, but it's not the local curry food either.
The fried spinach? Had I more money I would have ordered 2.
This wait staff beat the pants off 3 other well known dining places in DC.

If you like Indian food this place is a must. Nice location, staff, meny at a good price. We had chicken Makhani with a Mango Mangeese as an accessory/drink. This is definately a place I will return to. Recommended!

Really enjoyed the Palak Chaat (crispy spinach), goat cheese kulcha (naan) and chicken biryani. These were also the favs of nearby tables. Service by Gustavo was outstanding! I will return. Enjoy!
