“Easy way to see the highlights.”
Reviewed February 5, 2013 via mobile

We only had 3 days in DC so we did the open top bus on our first evening. We got to see all the monuments faster & easier than doing it on our own. At some we were able to get off & take pics (Lincoln, MLK, Roosevelt, Vietnam) Tour guide was personable, but used the same jokes again & again. He was very knowledgeable though and share alot of history with us. The bus ride gave us an overview of where things are & what to go back to on our own. I'd recommend to anyone with a short of time but wants to see as much as possible in it.

“just OK”
Reviewed January 27, 2013

the buses are not really timed out that great... had to wait 30 mins for the blue bus after getting off the red but which was suppose to arrive before the blue bus...
also our driver was crazy! was on top of the bus with some Europeans that did not speak english... they were standing briefly to take a picture and sat back down once we got on the highway... our driver stopped in the MIDDLE of the highway UNDER a bridge and came to the top and screamed at us passengers that were ALL sitting to stay seated...was holding on to the seat in front of me in fear of someone rear ending us in the middle of 60mph highway.
still not sure if it was worth $45? could have easily seen everything via the metro.. oh well

“Waste of time, waste of money”
Reviewed January 25, 2013

Not personable at all. You go by interesting buildings, wondering what it was it and wanting to know about it. And u get nothing. All information is on a prerecorded tape that the driver plays when going by things. We sat at Arlington Cemetery for 30 min to get picked up.

At one site two employees got into an argument in front of the customers, which is completely unprofessional. We road it back downtown then took cabs places. Which would of been cheaper to do in the first place.

Save your money and take cabs or the subway places.

“Avoid at all costs!”
Reviewed January 19, 2013 via mobile

Expensive tour that left my 4 kids, my wife and me stranded for almost 2 hours. They said it was a "busy day" and be "patient"!? It's 45 degrees! And you knew it would be busy but you were not prepared.
Once they have your money they seem to lose interest
Just avoid this operation at all costs

“not very reliable”
Reviewed January 4, 2013

The buses did not come on the schedule promised, had to call numerous times while waiting up to an hour for the bus to come - 20-30 minutes was the promised wait time. The night tour was well done with a very good tour guide.
