Ate here several times while staying at the Omni. Enjoyed the cafe atmosphere, and appreciated the multiple vegetarian and vegan options, which were not plentiful at hotel dining. Crowded for breakfast on the weekends. Has a nice local, casual vibe. The food was great and they have breakfast options available all day.

If you like coffee go here. Good pie and breakfast. Great comfort food. Right next to Red Line Metro station on Calvert

Quite a diverse menu and range of prices. Some menu items seemed to be a bit overpriced while others were in-line with acceptable pricing as to what you'd expect in DC. We were a party of five and two were not too terribly pleased with the quality of food. The server was pleasant, but a little on the slow side with a section that was not crowded. Not a terrible experience, but would probably look for something different next time.

From reading reviews we expected great food or at least the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich would be great and huge. It was just ok and came on a plate by itself- no chips or fries or anything. The short ribs were tender but didnt have that intense short rib taste which made me thing they might be beef roast. The patio seating was the nicest but it would be brutal in the hot months. The give you animal crackers with the coffee drinks with was super cute. The service at our table was slower than that at tables arriving after us and we had the same waiter That day there was a birthday party with 5-6 yr olds- not too loud but even the adults ate with their fingers.
