Description: Fogo de ChaoR (fo-go dee shoun), is an authentic Southern Brazilian steakhouse. In 1979, FogoR began sharing the gaucho way of preparing meat in Porto Alegre, Brazil. Today, our gaucho chefs still expertly grill each of our 16 cuts of meat and offer you continuous tableside service. We invite you to enjoy the delicious preparations of our gaucho chefs along with our gourmet salad bar, authentic Brazilian side dishes, and award-winning wine list.

My mistake was enjoying the salad bar too much before turning my card over to tell the servers to start bringing meat ... 16 different cuts/kinds of meat, top sirloin, bottom sirloin, filet mignon, beef ribs, pork ribs, pork tenderloin, pork sausage, chicken, etc., all flame grilled on a rotisserie and carved right at your table. And the servers keep coming till you turn your card over to red! WOW!

If you like meat, you have to try Fogo's!

If you like choice cuts of meat and have a big appetite, you must eat here. I've had the distinct pleasure of eating at Fogo de Chao in Sao Paulo Brazil and at various location in the US. The food quality is the same high standard at each one. The waitstaff does a great job of keeping the food coming and offering you selected cuts of various meats right at your table that can be as endless as you desire. As long as you want more, they will keep coming. The salad bar (really a food bar because there are some hot dishes on it as well) is included in the price or if you are not a meat eater and only want the salad/food bar, you can select it separately. Expect to be completely full when you leave here. Based on the potential food one can put away, the price is not too high for the experience. This is another favorite spot but to be visited sparingly due to the volume of food you will likely eat when visiting.

Nothing can describe how much this restaurant does a very very delicious food, rally Yum Yume on the other hand the atmosphere very classy and romantic. Don't be hesitated to go there with your wife especially if she is mad from you, or want to ask your wife anything;). The services is excellent. to be honest I couldnt find a single thing to complain other than its pricy but worth again Yum Yume

Having been to Buenos Aires, and been fortunate to sample tens of good old fashion steak houses...this is about as close as I could compare the Brazilian concept of mas meat consumption=)) Great for big parties

We had a large group party on a Tuesday night, even with a reservation we had to wait for a little while to get seated. tried the passion fruit caipirinhas while waiting and they were too sweet for my taste. Staff was very aggressive to serve, at one time we had 4 different meats on the plate, should definitely maintain the pace for a nicer dinner. Way too expensive for the experience, better try a different restaurant in the area. If you've been to other Brazilian steakhouses, this has nothing to impress... Maybe good for first timers.
