Description: Blue Duck Tavern, a contemporary neighborhood restaurant, invites its guests to gather and celebrate in good taste with a menu focusing on the freshest ingredients available from local purveyors and artisans. The menu notes every farm where the main ingredient for the dish was raised before its journey to the table. Dishes are genuine, time-honored and traditional -- slow roasting in wood embers, braising, preserving and smoking techniques bring the true flavors of America's great, simple and wholesome foods to the Blue Duck Tavern. The restaurant has an elegant residential feel through the open staff pantry and kitchen, wood-burning oven and the showpiece Molteni range.

“Well Worth It”
Reviewed May 13, 2013

My girlfriend and I have twice now gone to the bar for appetizers, deserts, and drinks. We've gotten enough to fill us up, but granted, it isn't quite a full meal. This place is very expensive, and even eating only a little came to $70+, but it's always a great time. The food never disappoints, and it's a nice venue.

Also, their desert menu is very unassuming, but very delicious.

Dear smh33,

Thank you for continuing to visit us in the Lounge for drinks & apps. I love our cheese display which is definitely a favorite of our guests. Please come see us soon in the restaurant as well. See you again.

“Very Good, Not Incredible”
Reviewed May 10, 2013

GOOD food but nothing incredible. I thought it was decent but too creamy and heavy in think flavors. Friendly staff and our waiter brought out complimentary ice cream to go with our apple pie (which was just blah). However, very nice touch and we appreciate it!

This is located inside of a hotel so it's very sheek and modern but we were expecting more from the food.

“Just ok keep it in g town”
Reviewed May 8, 2013 via mobile

This place is good but not great. Very overated as are most decent restaurants in that area. They are traditionally rude for average food and average service. I have had good meals here but not a regular spot for me.

“Awesome brunch”
Reviewed May 8, 2013

This is my favorite brunch place. Love their food and service is excellent. When I think of places to go for brunch, their orange juice always comes to mind. It's so good! That's the main reason why I drag my family to come here. And I'm not an orange juice person. My family love this place.

Dear bevbreb,

Thank you for the wonderful brunch comments! It sounds like you are a big fan of our orange juice. Have you tried any of our other juices? The Pineapple & Mint is a favorite of mine. Thank you for bringing your family here to dine for brunch. We look forward to seeing you all again soon.

“Simply Stunning”
Reviewed May 7, 2013

This restaurant must be experienced to believed. You can go as a couple or with friends - it's terrific either way. We had three in our party and because they serve the meals "family style" it afforded us the opportunity to taste a wider variety of dishes on the menu. And they were all absolutely fantastic.

We began with the Wood Oven Roasted Bone Marrow. It was so rich and creamy. So, so yummy! From there, we moved on to the Suckling Pig, Oven Roasted Maine Scallops and the Rib Eye. All were done to absolute perfection. And their famous apple pie! All I can say is save room for it!

The portions were perfect; we did not leave feeling "stuffed", but rather satisfied. And the service was superb. I can't say enough good things about Blue Duck Tavern except that we will absolutely be back as soon as possible!
