Four of us enjoyed one of the best meals in our recent memory here. The atmosphere was bustling, the wait staff was knowledgeable, and the menu was relatively short but very appealing. The wine list was very extensive, and there were some surprisingly reasonable bottles. The one we selected with the help of the sommellier was unknown to us but very enjoyable. Our starter included glazed sweetbreads that had been cooked "sous vide" and were very delicious. Salads were terrific, including one with roasted beets. Main courses were uniformly wonderful: roast suckling pig (as tender and tasty as advertised), beautiful salmon, perfectly cooked and luscious scallops. The table shared an order of great tasting Brussels sprouts and a dessert of apple pie. Everyone left remarking how superb the evening had been.
