We went here on a Friday to see the Anthony Parker Quartet. The show is listed as starting at 9, but in reality it starts closer to 9:30 or later. The place is low-key, with basic chairs and tables, with a small stage and a exposed-brick wall as the background. In between sets there is a screen showing old jazz favourites. The atmosphere was unpretentious, the service was good and the staff were welcoming. There is plenty of space. One is able to order dinner and drinks and enjoy with the show. On certain days (I think Wednesdays, but check the website to be sure), one can bring own wine or beer. The Anthony Parker Quartet was quite good, we really enjoyed the music, and the acoustics were good. The price was very reasonable - $15/person, a lot less compared to The Blues Alley.
