I have been visiting Peacock Cafe many years. This is one of the best restaurants in town that can cater the family with kids as well as a couple having romantic evening. All works beautifully here. Food and friendly staff as well as affordable prices are key to their success.

Stopped here for Sunday brunch. Wonderful table next to a huge window. It was almost as if we were sitting outside. The service was phenomenal. Would return on next visit to DC.

Went there after a long morning of sightseeing for brunch and entered to find a queue of people waiting for a seat inside. Luckily there was one seat just outside by the door which we could have immediately otherwise there would have been a 20 minute wait...and you can tell why. Service was very attentive and friendly, food was great and atmosphere was also very good. The only thing that let it down for me was the location of our table, there were constantly people walking past and opening the door behind me, but due to the amount of people, it wasn't surprising really.

Would definitely recommend this place for brunch. But maybe book ahead if possible!

I was been in this restaurant with other 9 people. The service was good but at the beginning the waitress took a lot of time to write the order for drinks, and then we had to wait for ordering food. It will be better the oposite. During the rest of the night, it was pretty fast.
Food was really good and fresh, we ordered meat, fish, vegetarian food, risotto...everything was very good. And the relationship price-quality is good.
The inside Is not very interesting, and there was a tv inside to watch sports...not very charmy!
