Ate the most delicious meal here last night with my Husband. We had a table outside overlooking canal. Lovely quiet peaceful location & very romantic setting with privacy at your table. We had oysters & crab chowder to start both delicious with a wonderful bottle of wine followed by Halibut and risotto & scallops which were both tasty and perfectly cooked. The service was good & friendly all in all a great experience. We would definitely return & highly reccomend this Restaurant if you enjoy sea food.

The atmosphere is dark, and the service was slow. The seating is not comfortable and we waited and waited for our dinner. he seafood menu was standard boiled lobsters, fried seafood..not a varied menu, and it was pricey. In the heart of Georgetown, surrounded by so many great spots--I would recommend another place.

This was my first time at Sea Catch, but not my husbands. We were in DC for our honeymoon weekend, and choose to eat dinner here on our first night.

The hotel is located in a nice brick courtyard and their is a parking garage near the restaurant, they also validate your parking for your which is nice.

The inside of the restaurant is very dim, very romantic, and fire places going everywhere. We were greeted with smiles and whisked to our quiet table in a corner booth. As an appetizer we had the calamari, and I had their seasonal soup butternut squash.

Apps and soup were yummy, service was terrific, the waiter asked what brought us out to dc and we told him we were here on our honeymoon, and the night manager later brought us each a glass of champagne. How thoughtful! I loved watching the table next to us, as they ordered fish, and we watched the waiter meticulously de bone her fish for her table side.

Dessert was also very good like a vanilla rum cake with strawberries.

Overall I would return to dine at this restaurant again. We loved the atmosphere, the food and the service.

I met some friends for lunch and the food and restaurant were very good. I had the Chesapeake Salad which included a good portion of lump crab meat. The citrus based dressing was refreshing. The service could have been a little better; he spilled wine on every pour. Other than that, a good lunch choice in busy Georgetown.
