A wonderful memorial, incredibly well thought-out & very moving. A great dedication to the WW2 servicemen & women. Very pretty when lit up at night.

Our fathers both served in WWII and we thought this memorial was a good one. The states' names are all around; there's a pool; it's between the Washington Monument & the Lincoln Memorial, so just the location is impressive.

What a moving memorial to all those who served and the 400,000 Americans who lost their lives during World War 2. Well worth the visit at night when it is lit up.

The lighting at night is very dramatic but, makes the reading of the plaques difficult to read. To get the information side and to possiblilby see some WWII vets there, you have to go during the day. Hey, you're in DC, go at both times
