This is truly a perfect monument to the men and women who fought in World War II. Although their generation is dwindling, their children and grandchildren should all make it a point to visit this wonderful monument. The water surrounded by columns representing all of the states, with the fountains in the water is just wonderful. It took a long time coming but it was worh the wait.

The Freedom Wall's 4,000 gold stars is my favorite part of this memorial.

This monument is beautiful in an outdoor space with water features. To see and hear the vets tell their stories causes you to have a very emotional experience at this monument.

I had the privileged to see this with my grandfather, a proud WWII Vet. Consider this a must see if you visit the National Mall.

Tasteful and honoring of both arenas Atlantic/Pacific as well as each state. It was heartwarming to see so many WWII vets many being wheeled around to see this beautiful memorial in their honor.
